"The staff was helpful & patient. They invited us back again! The room was clean & nice. The very beautiful sliding "barn doors" for the bathroom would not stay shut for privacy, but that is the only thing bothersome. Thanks for a very pleasant stay!"

"Great property with a lot for all ages. This is likely the most well equipped house we have ever stayed in, it is more like a home than a rental. From games to fishing poles to unlimited firewood to horseshoes to puzzles that are all oddly missing just one piece the Madison House has it all. The river and the fishing pond give you days of things to do without ever getting in your car. "

"We had a wonderful stay and our host was extremely personable and welcoming. He gave us several recommendations for places to eat (Gordonsville Ice House had phenomenal fried chicken!) and offered tours of the property, which was very expansive. It was well appointed inside and we had a very comfortable and relaxing time. Highly recommend checking out this unique and special property!"
