From the moment you arrive, it’s yours to settle into—whether that means slow mornings on the deck, afternoons on the water, or evenings under the stars.



Some vintage items inside the cabin are part of the home’s history and are for display only, but otherwise, you’re welcome to make yourself at home.

Tucked along quiet Covey Lane, this is the kind of place where things move a little slower.



The lane gets its name from the quail that still wander through the yard and surrounding trees, and it’s not uncommon to see wildlife passing by as you sip your morning coffee.



This is a peaceful, established Twin Lakes community made up of long-time cabins and families who have been coming here for generations. It’s not a busy tourist zone—it’s something better.

Getting Around:

Twin Lakes is best enjoyed at your own pace.



A vehicle is recommended for getting to and from the cabin

Parking is available on-site

Nearby towns, restaurants, and stores are just a short drive away



Once you’re here though… you may find you don’t want to go anywhere.



Most days are spent right at the cabin—walking from the deck to the dock, from the water back to a chair in the yard.

Grandad's Secret Hideaway Cabin is a rustic, family cabin designed to feel like stepping back in time—simple, peaceful, and full of character (not a modern luxury home).



No pets or parties — this is a quiet, family-oriented space

The boathouse is not accessible

Please bring your own life jackets for proper fit and safety

Kindly store all beach items and toys before departure
