"My husband and I stayed here for a week after travel disruptions forced us to extend our trip in Phuket. We chose this hotel for its proximity to Patong Beach and nearby attractions. While the location is convenient, this was the least preferred of the four hotels we stayed at during our three-week trip in Thailand. Although marketed as a resort, it lacked many features we expected. There is no spa, and many common areas were frequently closed for private events. Most indoor common areas also lacked air conditioning, which made the heat uncomfortable during the day. The pool areas had very little shade, making it difficult to spend extended time outside. Our swim-up room had chairs instead of loungers, which wasn’t ideal for relaxing. Housekeeping was daily but often not thorough. We frequently had to request washcloths and toilet paper, and noticed issues like debris remaining on floors, hair left on the toilet seat, and an empty conditioner bottle left in the shower. Service was inconsistent, particularly at breakfast and dinner. Breakfast had a large selection but was expensive for Thailand. The airport “shuttle” was simply a taxi arranged at a higher price than Grab. Overall, the location is good, but for longer stays the hotel lacked the comfort, amenities, and service we expected from a resort"

"We absolutely loved our stay. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We were surprised by all the amenities: from a beach bag and beach slippers, to a bathroom and room slippers. The breakfast buffet was superb! We are frequent travelers and this was by far the largest breakfast buffet we had. If you’re traveling during a birthday, they also provided a super tasty cake with candles. The beach front was a definite plus. We 100% recommend this resort. "

"Nice resort in a nice surroundings. The staff very helpful. Two main problems. 1. The sea shore is across the street and you have to rent umbrellas and chairs separately. The hotel itself and the rooms are looked little bit old. With renovation it will be a wonderfull resort"

"Worst stay in Thailand. I've been all over for 3 weeks in this beautiful country. But this hotel is not how it's advertised. The room smelled foul like sewage. Tried to call front desk for my wifi password and realized the phone didn't work. Front desk sent someone to check and it wasn't plugged in. He found a jack on a different table and it didn't work. He came back 10 min later with another man and they had to pull my bed out to find a jack and that didn't work. At this point I didn't care. It was 12:30 am and I wanted to sleep. I tried to tell them multiple times I didnt want the phone fixed anymore. They kept trying to play with the phone jack while sprawled on my bed. The bed was one of the worst I've had ever. Felt like a plywood sheet. Also my bedside table lamp didn't work because the plug was pulled off the wires. This hotel needs so much work. I asked for a partial refund for my inconvenience and they told me to go through Expedia. Even though I paid the hotel on my cc when I arrived."

"Hotel is the original Holiday inn in Phuket, rooms at a little tired but otherwise functional, however the bathroom had a funny smell the entire time, however the many issue is that all of the pictures etc., show a pool you do not have access to unless you purchase a premium room. This is not clearly specified! Within the small print it states that certain rooms have a number of pools but there is one poorly taken shot of the main pool with the remainder of the shots being of the pools available only to premium rooms. Also the in hotel shop sold us a faulty bag and then refused to refund. All in all, there are nicer hotels in Phuket for the money, I feel. "
