"Offering a break from the 'minimalist' trend of interior design, this home offers a visual cornucopia to the eye with lots to look at, both old and new. Shelves and walls are covered with items that evoke memories for the older generation and fascination for others. Plenty of games for the wet days and a wonderful deck and backyard for summer days."

"Room needed some maintenance such as broken handle of a window making it difficult to air room out in day and the door was super stiff and not on runners properly making difficult to open the door especially with a sleeping toddler in one arm. Said daily room service such as towels but there were a couple days we had no clean towels. They did provide dishwashing liquid and dish brush but no tea towel to dry dishes"

"Things that the great cleaning staff would not have reason to notice: The TV had no sound on "Live TV" (freeview) so it was not worth watching the news or weather forcast as we wanted. We tried every button we could try on the remote but could not get any sound for Live TV. And many of the other apps supplied (Netflix, Prime, Disney, etc) needed a sign-in so no use to us. That said, we did manage to find a suitable movie to watch - with sound. Other observations: The light over the mirror in the bathroom was very faint - great for toileting (without blinding us) in the middle of the night. But hopeless for applying make-up, even in the daylight of morning. Also there was no hairdryer - just on the weekend that we forgot to bring out own as we usually do. And while we had enough light for what we needed, the main light in the middle of the room was not working. All of that said, value for price was excellent for us. We would certainly return if we had a need for accomodation in the area."
