The main bedroom is very spacious with a generously sized bed; the bed settee was also used during our stay and made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. "The residence is a wonderful vacation spot on the coast of the Irish Sea with beautiful sea views. The home is spotless and fitted out with everything you’d need for your visit. It’s close (10-15 minute drive) to Dundalk and Carlingford and an hour from Dublin and Belfast. The host, Ciara, is super friendly and accommodating and went out of her way to make our visit a special one. One great bonus is Ferguson’s Bar within walking distance which for us was a genuine magical Irish experience. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t thank Ciara enough for such warm hospitality and attention to detail."

Two irritants (i) Adjustable Shaving / Make-up mirror, beside main mirror in bathroom was obviously broken-off from its bracket but had not been replaced, (i) breakfast was good apart from the bacon which was overcooked and dried out as it was probably cooked hours earlier and then kept hot."

"We had a great family trip to Dunleer in Barmeath Castle. There were 12 of us who fit comfortably. This was our home base for about 6 days and we were very happy with it. The property is older so be prepared for old pipes that don’t have much water pressure, cold showers and tricky kitchen Operating. The hosts were great!"
