"The room was spotless. Centrally located. Host excellent. Mini refrigerator in room that actually cooled things. Nice breakfast setup. Only suggestion - host have write up and photos that say how lovely the place actually is! Thank you Patrick."

"Lovely cabin with fantastic attention to detail - so many nice touches, including the fire pit, the landscaping and short trail to the water. The Lighthouse Cabin made a great launching spot as we hiked the amazing Coastal Trail at Quoddy Head State Park and explored Campobello Island, across the Friendship Bridge into Canada. On Campobello, we enjoyed an excellent short tour of FDR’s family retreat, found fantastic hikes and made a slightly dangerous (slippery) hop over to the Head Harbour Lightstation, which can only be done at low tide. Even saw some whales along the way! If we had more time, we would have loved to hike the Cobscook Shores Parklands available throughout Lubec, some of which are very close to the cabin."

"Fantastic stay! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described. Check-in was quick and effortless thanks to Mary's clear instructions.Mary was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and a pleasure to communicate with. We accidentally left some clothes in the dryer after checking out, and she immediately mailed them back to us and had them on their way in no time. That level of care and responsiveness is truly exceptional.We couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place with outstanding hospitality. We'd happily stay here again!"

"Love our stay! The house was clean, comfortable and quiet. Amazing view of the bay. Would 100% recommend. It’s a habit of a trek to the main part of town if you don’t have a car, but rented bikes from Mike’s Bikes, made getting around on the island easy."

"What an incredible stat! The house is airy and well-appointed! Geno is responsive and friendly! The location and amenities can’t be beat! Amazing kitchen for cooking family meals, lots of shared space for socializing, and comfy beds! The pool is a definite highlight! The location is incredible. We walked into town every morning. We stay in lined every year and this was the best! Thank you so much for the best family vacation!"

"This beautiful rental is worth making a trip to Downeast Maine stay in. The description reveals lots of steps - so be aware of that - but they are sturdy and we found them easy to climb. The views are spectacular & we lived in the deck the evening we arrived. The sun rises over a lighthouse on Campobello Island & I watched it from our deck. Outstanding! Our host met us as we arrived and all communication was precise and timely. The apartment has 2 lovely, large bedrooms & the beds are comfortable & the linens very nice. The TV has YouTube TV, so no need to remember your own streaming logins! We would rent again. Exploring Campobello Island proved to be a wonderful experience. In the past we just went to President & Eleanor Roosevelt’s home and then left. The Island is worth the time to explore. Tip: take the time to attend a “Tea With Eleanor” event. The tickets are free & the presentation excellent."
