"Gary and Kimberly’s place is fantastic! Beautiful setting, great location in Oakhurst, close to Yosemite and Bass Lake. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a beautiful and well furnished place to stay. The facilities were great, and it was like a home away from home, and in some ways even better. We were all impressed at the thoughtfulness that went into making it such a pleasant place for guests. Nothing but kudos for this cozy family home. Highly recommended!"

"I booked this cabin for a family trip to Yosemite, and this was my first time using VRBO. The communication with the property’s owner was great. I received all of the information in advance of my stay. The cabin is centrally located right in Yosemite, only 30 minutes from Oakhurst and Yosemite Valley. The kitchen contained nearly everything we needed to enjoy family meals, and having the fireplace with plenty of firewood came in handy during the chilly nights. "This is a nice place that is pretty convenient to Yosemite. Everything was good except we felt like there were so many rules, we did not make use of all that was at the home. I understand as we have rental property ourselves, but these were over the top. It is not like we were there all that much, so it really was alright."

"The location is perfect if visiting Yosemite. The town of Mariposa was so nice and some nice places to eat & shop. The home has a couple of skylights, one in particular in one of the bedrooms which makes it very hard to sleep past 5:45am. The hot tub did not work. It was hot just no bubbles. The coffee maker takes about an hour to make a pot of coffee and the home is in need of extra blankets. "The house doesn’t not look like the photos posted but it’s better than staying in a hotel cause you have more space and at least it was kept nice and clean. Basic stuff was not provided. There’s a dishwasher but no detergent so we can’t even use it. They also don’t provide bath soap and shampoo even though it was stated under amenities. And if you plan on cooking, no spices whatsoever in the cup boards."

"Serenity home is so peaceful. The view is absolutely beautiful. The home is very spacious. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. The kitchen is spacious and plenty of cooking pans and utensils. There are several patio areas, all with a beautiful view. The kids also loved that there were books in the room and they loved the hammock in the back area."
