Most Needed Peace & Quiet
It suited us the most because we’ve much needed peace & quite. The location is not for party animals, however it’s not far from all the action areas where you need a taxi & front desk would be happy to help. All staffs were willing to help. There were 2 individuals stood out the most were Izzy & note. The weather was so good without any rain. The resort is on the west side of the island and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets almost everyday. This is the driest part of Thailand even on raining season. We are already planning to go back next year.

We had a wonderful time in Au Prao. The setting was lovely, the sea was great for swimming, and we loved Teddy singing in the evenings.

Covid leadership missing from one staff member.
Generally an excellent place. Room was comfortable and spotless. Restaurants were excellent. Only complaint was with regards to the restaurant manager. All the staff were very good wearing masks except the manager. He stood at entrance to restaurant every night with his old used mask hanging off his chin leaning into the faces of patrons. Sets a very bad example for his staff and upsetting for guests.

Excellent location Staff friendly Speed boat shuttle great but restricted on times - check before you go and get caught out having to pay for private one. Food excellent if a little pricey One of the best beaches on samet in my opinion We will be back again for sure

The staff was friendly but the food was lacking and there was never any staff on the beach asking if there was anything you required no water was available to drink and no access to purchase anything to drink out side the bar was non existent

Quiet and clean beach on the west side of Koh Samet. There are only three resorts on Ao Prao Beach - Le Vimarn and Ao Prao Resorts are managed by the same company and CoCo Lima in between. Although it had a full occupancy during our stay, we never felt crowded/rushed. The resort is spacious and there are enough sun beds for everyone. We were already checked in their own special pier - so smooth with transfers and our car, which was parked in the pier, was well looked after. Staff were very attentive, efficient and helpful. Complimentary breakfast served a variety of international and Thai dishes - soup options were especially great. We had BBQ dinner, which was not bad, but not so impressive either. We also had one Italian dinner at "O" restaurant in Le Vimarn, which served very good pizza and risotto. We got a deluxe hillside room. Probably because I asked for a quiet room, our room was at the end of the resort. It was a bit of climb, so in case you have a problem in mobility, it's better to get one of the beach cottages.. It was a pleasant stay and we will definitely go back.

It was the nicest beach property we have stayed at in Thailand. The private beach location was excellent and still easy to take a taxi to the more populated side of the island. Our only complaint was that there was not very good English spoken here and that the breakfast was cold in the mornings if you did not arrive right away when it opened.

Fantastic secluded resort with beautiful beach
We stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The resort is one of three perfectly located on the west side of the island, so is sheltered from the prevailing winds and the beach is beautiful. The resort itself is nestled into the hillside and the grounds are beautifully kept. The pools are great but the beach is even better, with lots of lounges and umbrellas. The room was comfortable, quiet and spacious. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and had everything you would expect and the restaurant food was fantastic. We chose Thai options which were all tasty. The only down side for us was the restaurant service. It felt like there were a lot of very junior staff who struggled with basic requests and we even had one order not arrive. Patience and island time are required! Other than that, the reception staff and management were very accommodating and welcoming.

Worth Another Visit
Service was fantastic. I had an issue with my original room and they relocated me. Beach is amazing. Food is excellent although not cheap. The area is a bit secluded but really well maintained.

Hotel staff and services are ok. However, the cleanliness of the beach is bad. Lots of plastic bags, bottles etc being washed up ashore. The hotel staffs worked hard to clean up the beach in early morning. Perhaps more cleaning rounds and other measures need to be done in order to keep the beach clean. The registration and organising work at the pier is fabulous for guests.

Quiet, clean hotel on a white sandy beach
Hotel room was very clean with all the modern amenities. Food was good. Breakfast had a selection between western and Asian. You can't expect the food to be as same as from a 5 star hotel but it was more than enough. Staff was friendly and polite. Our room was at a higher level so the view overlooking the sea was great. Good place to sit on the balcony and have a drink.

This continues to be one of our favorite spots. It's a beautiful quiet beach. Prices for the restaurant and activities are a bit high for Thailand, but we weren't looking for budget accommodations. The included breakfast and speedboat transfers are other high points.

This is one of the quietest and most serene places on Koh Samed... really a great find.... it's not 5 star in that some of the little things are not attended to (creaky doors, sink clogging up, A/C temperamental) - but it's a very solid 4 star with lovely breakfast area, seating, beach and pool. Staff generally very helpful, although English is somewhat challenging....

Not perfect but Satisfied!
It was good for our honeymoon. We stayed only two nights, which was enough for us to stay inside the resort or beach swimming and relaxing. If you plan to stay long i would suggest that you are ready to walk or call a cap everytime you go to other beach areas. It is kind of isolated.(it was okay for us) the good thing was they provide a speedboat service to ferry, that was great value. Food was okay. I can't say great. The service at the reataurant with the fire show gave me a bad impression though, it could be only my case. Overall i want to give good scores!

Wonderful staff, rooms, location and service. The only thing I'd change is that the bathroom doors are made of fabric so it's not the most private endeavor. Other than that the place is perfect and well worth the money.

Definitely not pleased by the old room we initially received (really outdated and not clean) , we had to pay extra to get a clean new updated room. Kind of a mixed feelings experience overall as money rules over here! For food, taxi, activities... Name it!
