It was a very nice house. Just right for my three grandkids and me. The kitchen had everything you needed. The best part was the deck, what a view!!! Mornings were so beautiful and so quiet....... Thank you for making our trip comfortable.
Great location and place is very roomy and comfortable beds!
Got a lot of the run around when trying to purchase a day pass for fishing the private lakes though. I would definitely be back next year if I knew I could purchase the RFLS&I fishing passes.
Thanks again!!!

Deceptive photos
Overall I would give this cabin a 5 out of 10. It had basic necessities, well stocked kitchens and bathrooms and the view was amazing. The photos of the inside of the cabin made it seem light inside but in actuality it was very dark. It was either dark wood or all the walls were painted dark brown. The furniture in the main room needs replaced, the carpets although clean are very old and the sheets were uncomfortable.

Hummingbird haven
We truly enjoyed our stay at this property! Nothing fancy but not too rustic either. Just right. Best part was the serenity, fresh mountain air and the oodles and oodles of hummingbirds and other wildlife we encountered. We saw pelicans, chipmunks, a bald eagle, hawks, deer, woodpeckers and various other birds. Someone in a cabin nearby said there was a moose in their yard and a juvenile bear was supposedly rummaging around at night but we saw neither of them ourselves. A beautiful lake (Snake Lake) is a 2 minute walk from the cabin. Just a great overall location. The cabin is clean and well equipped. Loved that they had a working pair of binoculars to use as well as a hummingbird feeder with extra hummingbird nectar for refills. The grill worked perfectly and the Brita filter came in very handy. The host is responsive and friendly. We will definitely book again when in the area!
The cabin is on the smaller size; but, is quite comfortable. The spiral staircase is a bit steep if you're totting a large suitcase. Need to watch your step. Could use a wider turn-a-round on the driveway. Enjoyed our stay.
Nice cabin home
Terrible road and not well marked
Once there experience was beautiful

Absolutely perfect stay!
My boyfriend and I decided to escape to the mountains for Christmas with our dogs. We wanted to cozy up by a fire for a few days, go for walks, cook yummy homemade meals and watch movies and that’s exactly what we did and it was perfect. The location is a beautiful area and super easy to get to from Denver. The house had everything we needed and the host Lora was SO sweet and responsive the few times we had a quick question. The home itself was so fun for us. We loved sitting and looking around at all of the rustic decor. The entire home felt like a little time capsule. I especially loved the 1985 phone book that’s used for fire kindling 😁 The complaints about the paint and the dirt road in some of the other reviews annoy me. 😂 If you require paved roads 100% of your drive instead of only 98%….dont book a mountain cabin 😂 The road was more than manageable and the brown paint absolutely did not interfere with our time there. Lol I actually think the photos for this place could be way better to do the cabin better justice! All that said, it is remote so be sure to stock up on groceries. We can’t wait to visit again in the summer! Thank you for a perfect Christmas escape 🥰❤️
