Red River Retreat
Our family of 16 stayed in this lovely mountain home. The location is great, close enough to walk to almost everything, and there was plenty of parking. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking equipment. If you are staying in the summer, you may want to consider bringing a fan or two. The view from the large front deck was spectacular!

Awesome property!
We were in town to celebrate a 50th anniversary and had the best time! This property provided such a nice place for our family to gather and make memories. It is in a great location and the views are gorgeous! I highly recommend staying here!!

Fantastic for Girls Weekend!
We loved this house for our group of 16 for our girls weekend! It was the perfect amount of space for us all and we enjoyed being so close to all the shops and restaurants in town. I would recommend this house to any large group looking for a homey and cozy place to stay!

Second Stay Just as Stellar!
We love this house! Our group of friends with kids came back for the second year in a row to ski and stay at this property. It is the perfect setup for all the kids to play games and hang out in the basement, and the beds and couches are so comfortable for the adults upstairs. The kitchen is large and fully stocked, and we have had great experiences both times.

Our family enjoyed the entire experience. The location, the cabin, the atmosphere.
The property felt like a home away from home for all of us. The cabin included everything we needed to BBQ, have a nice dinner, and sit on the deck and visit. The weather and beautiful mountain view is exactly what we needed along with time and memories with family.

Who ever does the cleaning at this property needs to get fired. I have never stayed at a house so dirty before. There was a bag of dirty laundry on the porch. The grill you couldn't even cook out of cause it was dirty and looked like someone cooked in the gas grill with charcoal. Was not happy with the cleaning the beds were dirty. Didn't even looked like they'd be cleaned since someone staying before we did

Thank you so much for informing us of this issue, Cynthia. As property owners, we trust our cleaning staff to be our eyes and ears at the property since we can't be. After receiving your review, we worked with the cleaners for several months to improve their work. When the cleanliness level didn't improve, we hired different cleaners. Our guests have said that the house is now very clean and we couldn't be happier working with our new cleaning group.

Loved it but not clean and few issues
We loved the size of the place and location! We did have issues with cleanliness and the $500 cleans fees! The grill was an issue and the owner did respond and offered to reimburse for propane but the store was closed. There was food on a small plate under the futon downstairs and chips etc. we cleaned it up. The beaver den room has no fan remote . The hummingbird room has crud I guess dried spilled food. I have pictures. Wevleand and washed most of all our towels and folded and cleaned and sprayed our lysine l upon leaving at nine. N I d a new coffee pot! I called Tiffany this morning and left a message we’d like to discuss the blaming fee. Pulled out an extra pillow from Eagle nest room and dirty. Please contact us about the issues please

The house and the location was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay. The downstairs was wonderful for the kids. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. My only complaints was the dishwasher was full of dishes when we got there and wasn't really sure if they were dirty or clean so we ran the dishwasher and the dishwasher itself is not attached to the cabinet in any way so when you open it and pull out the racks the whole dishwasher falls forward. My second complaint was the oven wasn't clean. We turned it on to use it and something was burnt on the bottom of the oven and started smoking and set off the fire alarm so we really could not use the oven for the fire alarm going off.

So glad we chose this one!
This house was EXACTLY what we needed for a ski trip with 3 other families! We had kids ranging from 7 to 15 and they hung out in the downstairs “bear cave,” leaving the rest of the house quiet and mess-free for the adults! The location was sooo convenient and the living area was spacious and just right for a large group. The kitchen was fully stocked and we spent most of our time just hanging out and eating in the house when we weren’t skiing! Hoping there’s more snow next year so the kids can try the sledding behind the house.

Friend vacation
We had a good time in our vacation. We loved the house. The kids loved having the basement all to themselves. The house location is perfect, it walking distance to the grocery store and shops. We will definitely stay here again and will tell or friends and family about it.

Enjoyed my stay. House was great the only issue we had was parking out side we had trailers with our ATVs and could not find a proper parking. We were told we could put them in an empty space but did not feel safe leaving our trailers there.

I'm sorry you feel you couldn't find space for your vehicles. We have never had this complaint before. We can accomodate 7 vehicles. Our house accommodates more vehicles than most places in Red River.

Perfect house for our family!
High Street Hideaway was the perfect house for our group of 12! (Though the house could easily accommodate more.) The teenagers loved having the Bear Cave to themselves to play games and watch TV, while the 4 upstairs bedrooms gave the couples a quiet retreat at the end of the day. We were delighted to find such a well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed: pots, pans, dishes, appliances, kitchen tools - even spices! And the market is nearby so it was super convenient to buy groceries. When we return to Red River, we'll definitely be looking to stay here again! 5 stars all the way!!

I would absolutely recommend this Cabin! It is beautiful, comfortable and has great views. Our friends and family fit perfectly. The children LOVED the bunk room. The location is extremely convenient and in walking distance of all the activities in Red River.

Red River Get Away
This was the perfect property for our family. The rooms are very large, spotlessly clean and well laid out. We were a group of 15 from almost two year old to 62. The deck was perfect with it two gates at either end. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching the ski lift and hummingbirds. The cabin's location is perfect right by a large park for the kids, walking distance to everything in town and also close to the trail head for the ROV. I have stayed in a lot of cabin rentals and this is the most well equipped, had everything you could possible need in the kitchen, plenty of towels and bedding. The owners where so easy to work with communication was immediate to any of our questions. Red River is our families happy place and I will be planning our next trip around the dates this cabin is open!

This house was wonderful! It's an easy walk to restaurants and shops in downtown Red River, has a neat view of the mountain from my favorite spot (on the couch by the window in the living room), and is well-outfitted for food and entertainment. I had some questions for the owner while I was there and the response was prompt and friendly. Would 100% come back. :)

Perfect house for lots of kids!
We booked this house for my daughter’s sleepover weekend for her birthday with 11 kids! They absolutely loved the bear cave, getting to hang out and watch movies and play games! The bunk beds are super sturdy and easily fit two small kids in each bed. The check in and check out process was super easy and the house was very clean. The location was perfect and close enough to walk to Main Street to see the town. Highly recommend this property, we will be visiting again!

Perfect location for Red River Ski Area and to walk around town.
This home is the absolute perfect location for visiting the Red River Ski Area and summer activities. Plus it’s a block from Main Street, where you can easily spend a day shopping and enjoying good food, especially at the red River brewery. The bottom floor of the house is particularly nice for extended families with kids—we had 6 kids ages 5 through 16, and they could all stay downstairs when they (and the adults) were ready for a little quiet after a long day. The only remotely negative thing to mention was we thought the house could use a really good clean, but we recognize that it’s ski season and a lot of dirt gets trekked in. The hosts were great to work with, and they are pet friendly. Check in and check out we’re seemless, and all the normal amenities like kitchen supplies and WiFi were great. I would highly recommend this house for groups or large families, and we are already trying to figure out when we go back!

Amazing Place!
Goodness- we fell in love with this place! Most wonderful & cute cabin! The view was amazing- you can the lifts & ski runs while cozied up on the living room couch! The house was spotless- everything was so clean! They had every accommodation you could ever need or want! The beds were so comfortable! The kitchen was fully stocked! The “bear den” was a kids dream basement! The backyard was so awesome for our dogs! The owners were so responsive & kind! They have an incredible thing going on with this rental! We can’t wait to come back next year!!!

Our family really enjoyed staying here. We went sledding and walked all over town since the cabin was so close. There is plenty of parking, for big families. Enough space indoor to gather with the family and play board games or cards. Kitchen is very well equipped with all that you need to cook. All amenities are included! Overall wonderful place. The only thing we noticed is that the cleanliness needs to be a tad bit better. We found dirty socks under a bed upon out arrival, bit dusty on the floor and the stove palet was not cleaned. We followed all guidelines on the book for check out. Recommend that snow/ice built up be cleaned from the side stairs, some of us slipped a little. Hard to keep up though since it snows often there. We would love to come back in the summer!

Amazing Rental
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the house clean, spacious, and comfortable.The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances seemed clean, new, and in working order. The temperature in the house was perfect. We never touched the thermostat and the rooms seemed comfortable throughout the night. The showers were clean with great water pressure and the beds and pillows top notch. It is well within walking distance to trail heads, shops, restaurants, and the ski area. While the accommodations were all we could have asked for the communication with the owners was also outstanding. They replied quickly to messages, questions, and changes we had during the planning process. They also went above and beyond accommodating our special needs situation. We will definitely stay here again in the future and highly recommend it for big families.

Best place in Red River!
This property was absolutely perfect for our group! With four adults and four toddlers, we had plenty of room and much to spare! The house was fully stocked with more than any VRBO we have ever rented.. spices, paper towels, appliances, laundry soap, etc... it was above and beyond my expectations! The porch is gated on both sides so we could keep kids and dog contained but be outside. There is fully fenced yard in the back for the dog, as well. Plenty of parking for ATVs and vehicles. Literally do not have any negatives to say about this place, we will be back for sure!

The house was amazing! The beds were more comfortable than mine at home. We had a problem with the sink, but the owners were incredibly responsive and did everything possible to make our stay as perfect and comfortable as it could be. The house was perfect for big families. The downstairs bear cave easily slept all the kids. All the bathrooms all had amazing numbered hooks so no one lost their towels. They had washer, dryer, dishwasher soap, etc readily stocked and easily accessible. Their procedures, internet passwords, etc were all well laid out and accessible. The rooms were large and comfortable. The dining table was enormous, the couches fit our group. The TV had Hulu plus so it was easy to entertain everyone. The kitchen was enormous, well stocked with everything we could have needed (toaster, mixer, toaster oven, large amounts of dining ware, pots, pans, can opener, peelers, etc). I honestly can't say enough great things!

Great place for the entire family!
The location of the property is excellent! There are plenty of trails to ride four wheelers without having to load them, along with plenty of parking for vehicles, ATVs, and trailers. Walked to everywhere in town easily. Kids loved the Bear Cave!
