I would give 0 stars if I could because I wasn’t allowed to stay after I paid for the booked room. They have a policy that people within a 50 mile radius can’t stay here and unfortunately for me it was not posted online upon booking. You’d imagine it wouldn’t allow me to pay once I type in my zip code to finalize the booking. It’s been 4 days (2 business days) and I have yet to receive my refund. I understand this town isn’t the greatest and some people ruined it for others but giving a heads up before I wasted my time driving down there to check in and my money would’ve been great. We only booked here for our “stay-cation” for the pool for our daughter to enjoy.
The room was dirty with cookie crumbs and gold fish crackers under the furniture. The sofa bed was also filled with crumbs. Toilet bowel was also stained. On a side note, staff were friendly and professional.
Room was large, plenty of towels. Couch or sofa bed was old and worn out. My pet also managed to find a pair of men's underwear in the couch. That was fun. The 4 times I tried to speak to someone at the front desk were unsuccessful. No one there and a line waiting.
The hot tub was broken so that was a let down. When we got in our room there was a bit of hair in the bathroom. And the sink had what looked like dirty water spatters. The door to the bathroom looked all beaten up. It was pretty quiet even though it was full this night. And the beds are very comfortable.
West of and next to the I-5, luckily we were on the west side of the bldg so it was quite. City of Redding is easy to navigate. Plenty of dinning and shopping near by. Good place to hold over while traveling the I-5 (also, there's a new Costco with Costco Gas in Redding)
When we arrived to check in a young man passed us at the door with a garbage can. He proceeded to go off into the parking lot to empty it. We were waiting at the desk for someone when he came back, said just a minute, and went off with the empty garbage can. We waited a pretty long time until he came back. Our suggestion - Leave the garbage until the guest who is waiting is checked in. I don't think we should have had to wait for him.
Great hotel with friendly staff!! Enjoyed the pool and the hot tub was a nice temperature. The heater in the room was noisy( only complaint)

Disappointed had to pay for parking. There was an empty parking lot almost. Also hot tub was foaming and had not been treated. The front desk staff told us it was the fault of all the guests they had on the weekend. Pools and tubs should be maintained daily in a hotel. Breakfast was average. Many things were not available. Seems to be first come first served. We went at 8:00 am. The coffee pot was out of order. Not a great hotel experience.

Dear Lynn,I apologize for the issues you encountered while at our hotel. I would like to apologize for the parking fee but let you know the hotel itself does NOT charge for parking, this is a hidden charge expedia does not even show us they charge our guests. I have filed a claim due to this happening. Our pool is serviced every day I will speak with maintenance about his. We do offer additional coffee in the coffee bar located in the Lobby.
Property was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful
Our room was on the freeway side of the building, I thought there may be an issue with the noise and there wasn’t, it was quiet and you could not near the traffic from freeway
The service was great at front desk. The bathroom in our room when we arrived was not clean. It had someone's long black hair pasted to wall by sink. The refrigerator in hotel froze our food over night hence i dont think it was working properly. We didnt turn on heat at night and were still roasting hot and couldnt sleep. Then saw that the thermostat in hotel hallway by elevator was set to 73 degrees. So think thats why it was so hot. The hotel breakfast was awesome! The drawer that the muffins and bread were in was broken and wasnt able to get the drawer pulled out to get food during breakfast. There were no sheets or blankets for the pullout sleeper sofa in room when we arrived in room so had to go ask front desk.
