This was a clean, reasonably priced stay. Bare essentials but a bit noisy. Not a lot of space for parking. Close to Avenue of Giants! Just “ok” for one night.

Parking was hard, it was very loud all night long with people talking outside, and the layout of the room was odd. Worst night sleep in a long time. It was clean and smelled nice in the room.

This is budget friendly place to stay for a night. Not the nicest or cleanest place you will stay at. Pay for what you get I guess.

North inn is a really nice comfy stay bed are really nice and if you coming to redway for a concert the venue it only a 5 min walk really nice!!! Will stay at this place every visit in redway

Not super dirty but dirty. Staff was friendly. Dog hair everywhere literally even outside on walkway to rooms. Some rooms are seemingly occupied by on and off live in people from the streets who are allowed to stay in vacant rooms for some reason. Very affordable and didn’t necessarily feel unsafe but a little sketchy at the same time. Budget stay compared to best western in Garberville which is not much better

Staff is very nice. The location of the motel is great, near the Avenue of the Giants. The beds sheets and towers are clean.

The floor was laminate and not very clean. The floor around the bathtub looked kind of dirty due to needing new caulking. The furniture was very cheep and warn. Bare wood was exposed all around the edges. The curtains had holes in them that let light in and they looked dirty. Just kind of a tacky place, and I really hate to say that!

I liked management,friendliness, and willingness to help with any problems and needs. Someone above us that was there both nights of our stay, was constantly walking around his room at all hours, even in the early hours of the morning. How anyone can be so inconsiderate of others or be that active all hours of the day, is more than I can understand.

I do not like to give negative reviews, but I feel like I have to on this one. The guy at the office during check in was nice enough, but our room was pretty gross. The towel rack was loose and about ready to come out of the wall. There was a small dresser in the bathroom that seemed like it was probably purchased at a garage sale or a goodwill store. The floor tile seemed fairly updated, but it was dirty. I put my shoes back on after I got out of the shower so that I wouldn’t get my feet dirty before getting into bed. The bed seemed clean enough but the pillows were hard. The air conditioner in our room did not work and the thermostat was stuck on “Err” for error. I didn’t reach out to the front desk because I figured it was pointless and didn’t feel like relocating to a different room as we checked in pretty late at night. There’s a bar right next-door that stayed open until about 3 AM and I could hear people and music up until that time because I had the window open due to the non-functioning, air conditioner. We did not pay much to stay here and I guess you get what you pay for much of the time, but in this case, we overpaid.

I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for the stairs and elevation changes with several sets of 4 stairs between rooms on upper level. It was killer getting by our stuff up and down all those stairs!!

The hotel was clean and in good condition. There was plenty of noise late at night and early in the morning. Probably just due to the current guests.

This was a GREAT stay for us, traveling on a motorcycle!!! There is a nice Bar & Grill, Brass Rail, right next store, which was an AWESOME end to a days ride!!!

The owner was super friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and well laid out. Everything was in good working condition. Only complaint would be that the floors were pretty dirty, but the rest of the room - linens, bathroom, fridge, microwave, & room surfaces were all clean so that was small potatoes for us. One of very few motels that we've stayed in that provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash & hand soap which was awesome! The wifi was really fast. We were traveling with our dog, and the motel is dog-friendly has & has a convenient grassy patch out front for taking your dogs out.

Just a typical roadside motel, but very clean and well-kept, with a comfortable bed and an awesome shower. Would stay here again without hesitation. Only complaint is that it would be nice if they would at least make an attempt at some sort of breakfast, even if it was just single serve pastries and fruit.

When I arrived, there was no chair, desk, or table. The chair had apparently been removed by the previous occupant, and the property manager got me another one, so no big deal. But the lack of a desk or table was definitely inconvenient. Sorry, but I need more horizontal surface than the bathroom counter to work with!

Room was updated and nice. The amenities in the room, better toiletries, towels, coffee, etc. were nice as well. A nice rural setting and motorcycle friendly. The manager, Damien, was very helpful with suggestions of sights in the area.

This place was rated too high. We were supposed to get a non-smoking king bed on the first floor. They had a room scheduled on the second floor and my wife can not climb a narrow staircase. They put us in a first floor room, queen bed next to the office that reeked of cigarette smoke. Very small room. Later dogs consistantly started barking that sounded like they were just outside our door. About 1:00am, we were awakened by voices of people screaming and yelling at each other, and using foul language. Not good at all!!! Needs to have rating dropped to a 1 in my opinion.
