Regal Gateway

The apartment was great with a room, bathroom, kitchen and living room downstairs and the main bedroom and big bathroom upstairs. It was perfect for our family. The walk was extensive, parking was a beast (tight, small and expensive) and our room was on the first floor with 2 balconies, right next to I35. It was very noisy and loud with bystanders able to shake our hands from the balconies.

Unfortunately survey link expired but I’m making sure this honest feedback of my experience and first time stay at Cambria Hotel Austin Downtown on every platform so this is documented . Front desk Lady by the name of Amanda started the horrible experience after valet not attentive or available to complete drop off. She gave one key to the 15th floor however I asked for two keys and she confirmed and assured will place the in my key card holder. Get up to the elevator 15th floor have to go all they way back to 5th floor to even get to front desk and asked for the additional key she got an attitude with making wait along side a new check in to wait until she was completely when my issues was a quick 2nd key hand over. When asked do her name more aggression and told me to leave a review she gets great reviews which would never deter me from being of how she tested a new guest instead of owning her and mistake. EXTREMELY DIRTY, BROKEN THERMOSTAT CAUSING ME TO FREEZE WITH MO HEATER, UNABLE TO SLEEP AND ULTIMATELY FORCED TO CHECK OUT ONE DAY EARLY DUE TO PROPERTY ISSUES MAKING MY FIRST TIME STAY A NIGHTMARE I WISH I HAD NOT CHOSEN TO BOOK HERE ALSO BEING MY FIRST TIME IN AUSTIN TEXAS. When reported to overnight front desk worker he was also rude and aggravated with for asking do heat and following to confirm still not working and cannot sleep.
