"Frisch renoviertes Ferienhaus in ruhiger naturnaher Gegend. Das Haus bietet vier große Schlafzimmer und zwei schöne Bäder mit Dusche. Zusätzlich gibt es noch eine große Küche und ein großes Wohnzimmer. Wir haben uns mit 6 Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern sehr wohl gefühlt .Alles ist frisch renoviert und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.Der Vermieter wohnt in der Nähe und war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit."

Die Wohnung ist hübsch und neuwertig eingerichtet, in der Küche sind alle zum kochen erforderlichen Utensilien vorhanden. "Wir haben uns schnell an das rustikal eingerichtete Fachwerkhäuschen gewöhnt, so ganz anders als zu Hause wo modern. Die Kinder schliefen im Dachgeschoss (eher hell und modern), die Eltern in der mittleren Etage (eher dunkel rustikal). Wir nutzen die Küche im Erdgeschoss als Aufenthaltsmittelpunkt (essen, spielen usw.). Wir waren 12 Nächte vor Ort, bekamen frische Eier, einen Salatkopf aus dem Garten und einen Willkommenskuchen. "When we were there (June 2025) reception opened at 1600 and was off-site. You had to phone a number to get a key safe code to obtain your room key. When phoning, you hear a recorded message in German. Sadly, we could not understand the message so had to rely on the restaurant staff (who were on site) to help us connect to reception. German speakers would have no problem but non-Germans may have a problem. Another issue we had is that the hotel states it has an EV charging point - it does not! However, there is an ultra fast charger about 500m away next to Aldi. So, if you're hoping to charge overnight whilst sleeping, it's not possible. Once we obtained access all was well. The staff were great, the room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. There is a very good restaurant within the hotel building and the food is excellent. In the morning, breakfast offerings include continental and cooked. Again, excellent quality. All in all, we found this to be a very nice hotel with very helpful staff (once we'd battled the language barrier to actually get in!)"

"Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square."
