Haus Obinger is located in the Unterbichl district. We offer cosy one- and three-room apartments for two to five people. From the rooms, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Kaiser Mountains and the centre of Reit im Winkl. In the summer, our sunbathing lawn with a barbecue area is available for your use.
We are also a partner landlord/operator of the Benzeck ski lifts. This means you can enjoy additional free benefits in addition to our own services—such as free rides on the Benzeck lifts in winter (for a contribution of EUR 1.00).
For breakfast, we’re happy to offer our bread roll service. That way, you’ll find fresh bread rolls from the bakery right outside your apartment door first thing in the morning. Our younger guests can really let off some steam at the playground. Our house is also an ideal starting point for various sports activities. Holidaying with your pet? No problem! The three-room apartment measures approximately 65 m² and accommodates two to four people. Two additional bedrooms with double beds are at your disposal. You can prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen, which features a 4-burner stove, a microwave, and a cosy dining area. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. From the furnished balcony, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains.
Reit im Winkl, a climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “towns whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess qualities that are beneficial for relaxation and health.” Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the requirements for this designation ever since through its ongoing efforts. One key factor is its high elevation, which ensures that summer heat remains moderate and nights stay pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is largely determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air through the use of geothermal energy and an extensive bus service network.
