"Communication from the host was quick and smooth. We truly enjoyed our stay. Everything matches the description. Went to the hot tub, pool and restaurants on site. Everything was great. We also hiked Tahoe rim trail to picnic rock, this was beautiful in the summer. We went to kings beach and sand harbor beach (reservations recommended). The room was clean, I think a fan in the summer would be helpful to save having to use the cooler, but that is more of a personal preference for me."

"We've stayed at a few Ritz-Carlton resorts including New Orleans and Turks & Caicos a month or two after it opened and this one did not disappoint! We loved it so much we applied for a Ritz-Carlton credit card...the resort is tucked away in the mountains of Truckee and it's absolutely beautiful. The entrance sign is very understated but that's what you expect from a luxury brand--quiet understated upscale luxury and the property is too but it is stunning. The porte cochere is wide and expansive where the valets await your arrival. The doormen and bellhops are there to take your luggage if needed. Upon entering the gorgeous lobby we checked in at the desk which was quick but friendly and professional and left with a welcome drink of champagne which was refilled before we left for the elevators. Our room was on the 5th floor with a Mountain View and a view of the fireplace area where s'mores are made every evening at 5:30. There's lots of seating there too. The room was perfect; quiet, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was stocked with bathrobes and towels and all the luxury items you need for a hot shower or bath. There was a refrigerator and lots of water. We unpacked and headed down for a tour of the place. We went to the concierge to set up some spa services for the next day, looked around the gift shop and then headed up the staircase to see the restaurants and The Living Room. All clean, nice and gorgeous with beautiful views of the property and landscape."

"Great location. However, If you are sensitive to nighttime light, choose a unit facing the mountains, not interior village. This was an issue because there weren’t black out curtains. Kitchen was large, great for families. Living room was spacious."

"Well, this is our fourth consecutive year coming here during the warm season, and we usually stay 3-4 weeks each time. So I hope that says how much we like it. Top floor gives a great view. The unit is immaculate, and communication with the owner is always prompt, clear, and pleasant. This is an ideal location, halfway between Truckee and the lake. There are plenty of hiking trails on the property, and it’s easy to get to anywhere in the area. Before we came here the first time, we noticed that almost all the reviews were excellent, and after seeing it ourselves we knew why!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! If you’re looking to ski at Northstar and want the convenience of being right in the village, this is it. It’s truly ski-in/ski-out, which made everything so easy.We stayed as a family of four, and our two kids had great sleeping accommodations in the living room. If you’re looking for a simple, no-frills condo that has everything you need, this place absolutely does the trick. We’ll be back! "

"The location is nice. It's not exactly ski in/ski out but you are less than a minute from the Village Lift or the Gondola. The room was clean and I appreciate having all condiments and dish soap and sponge and coffee there without needing to go buy those "basic" kitchen cooking and cleaning stuff.I wish the pull out sofa bed was a little more comfortable because all the sections were not even. I wish I could give a rating that is more granular than a star because this is really a 4.25 star."
