When checking in, it is a requirement to have a credit card on file. The room was paid for in advance and I didn’t want to use a card. I offered cash;$100.00 and it was not accepted. Legacy would not work with me,so we didn’t stay. Would NEVER RECOMMEND LAGACY VACATION RESORT!

Staff were friendly, grill had no propane, large burner on stove didn’t work, air conditioners / heater not working properly, tv remote wasn’t working, dewelling exterior needs re-painting and touch up, un inspected so called mechanical man knocks at your door at 10pm unannounced, gym facilities was good, other then that the location was prime.

This was a great place for me and my daughter at a tournament. We could make breakfast and dinner on the stove (fried eggs, , oatmeal, can of soup) instead of going out all the time. The room was spacious. It's a quiet hotel close to the casinos, a grocery store nearby (5 minutes walking). The building itself is older, but in good condition and clean. They have recycling bins in the rooms! We didn't try the pool or the gym, but they looked nice and usable. Would stay again.

Dirty pan in the cupboard, shower a bit funky, no dish soap or scrubbie to clean dishes. Worked out well for my needs, was close to Starbucks, nice to walk nearby by the river. But the property overall was a bit trashy.

It has a full kitchen which is nice. Single studio doesn't have much counter space. Other good. Most 2 inconvenient aspects: 1. Thin walls (easily hear neighboring rooms which can potentially make it difficult when people are watching TV on loud volume). 2. Lack of control over thermostat. Reno has erratic weather. One the weekend it snowed a little and then hot (above mid 70s) in the week. The staff insisted that since there's only central heating/cooling and since "technically" the season is still summer, there would only be the option to HEAT or keep off. The room gets VERY stuffy and they have limited standing fans. Poor sleep (especially for longer stays) in this condition. There is a netted door you can open through the balcony but that can be a security concern also, it's weird to have that open when you're sleeping... easily someone can see in. These are the 2 main things that would prevent me from coming back. Especially the thermostat one.

The staff was great and very understanding. The furniture and beds were very uncomfirtable. The indoor pool was what we were kooking forward to most but there was barely any seating and no tables to put our towels and things in and keep them from getting wet. Yiu could hear EVERYTHING outside and from the rooms above and next door. We got no sleep as the people above us were up walking around all night and it sounded as if they were going to come through the ceiling. We had booked 2 nights but left after 1

I used to love this place. But they have changed a bit since the renovations. NO OVENS. Front desk staff always helpful; security on point. Red Phone Amber is the poster child of upper managements utter lack of customer service. So that definitely hasn't changed over the years. They are infamous for their "red phone" service. 3 stars given for Amber's lovely reception and the removal of ovens. I was really looking forward to being able to cook an oven dish for myself as I live on the road. I put up with a lot of lackluster customer service over the years just for that oven. no oven - no reason to tolerate Red Phone Amber anymore.

Over a two nights stay, we encountered 1 adult roaches and 4 juvenile roaches in the guest room. Bring many roach motel and roach bait stations if you are planning to stay here.

It was a good reservation, they were super friendly staff members, good space for the family. BUT the sheet in one of the beds had a dry blood stain, the sheet was washed, but the stain didn't come out and how ever sets the sheet back up dint check that out before putting it. The sofa had a rip apart but it was not a problem. I would say an 8 out of 10 because of the rip sofa and the blood stain on a sheet. I will go back beacuse of the friendly staff, price and quite area.

It was super slow to check in and there was so much confusion at the front desk. It took almost one hour to check in and with kids , it was so inconvenient. Then they did not offer the two queen bed that we booked and instead gave us a one queen bed. I was super upset that as family we cannot sleep together and one has to sleep on the sofa. I was about to cancel the appointment and go to another hotel but I was traveling with other family friends who all booked in the same hotel. My friend requested for another makeshift bed for my family and they finally relented and offered us the bed in the living room but we could not sleep together as a family and it kinda ruined our trip. Do not book at this hotel because they would not honor their words.

The property is in a horrible part of town, with very limited parking. if you have a large vehicle there are only 6 spots to park in that are labled Truck/suv parking, however they do not make small vehicle move if they park there. Also they advertised an arcade, game room and putt putt golf course. However, only 2 of the 5 games they had actualy worked. In the game room the fooseball table was broken, but they did have a pool table that was fully operational and the putt putt couse was unusable. Most of the boards were broken or coming apart with screws sticking out all over the place. The hotel also shuts down the Air conditioning to half of the rooms during winter, so you have to request a fan for your room (unless your ok with your room being 80 degrees at night.) The one redeaming quality was the pool and sauna unfortunatly we were only able to use it for one day because other guests were using it for a party room for 4 hours each day we were there. And the final and biggest issue was the service. If you need anything you better be ok with waiting all day for it because they work at a very slow pace. When we requested a fan for the room we were told it would only take a few minutes. Also, someone had to be in the room to accept the fan. We requested it at around 230 and didnt receve a fan till after 6 so had to waste our entire afternoon waiting for sothing that should have taken 5 min. Was an uterly horible experience start to finish.

We check in for 3 nights. First off this hotel says there’s AC but there was no AC in our room only a heater. When we told front desk they said half the bldg. doesn’t have AC. I know it’s winter but the room was getting pretty hot even without the heater on and most the windows wouldnt say open because they were broken and the one that weren’t didn’t open all the way. Second I booked a suite with 2 queen beds but was given a suite with one queen bed. I didn’t complain because both couches in that suite pulled out to beds for the kids. Third, we stayed 3 nights and they provide no housekeeping service and if you want house keeping service it was $40 a night extra. When we asked for extra linen we were only given a couple of sheets and no towels or blanket. We ended up using the pool towels. I think the hotel needs to be up front about these things before people book. I was pretty disappointed. I don’t think we will be staying there at our future visits to Reno.

Worst hotel ever!!!!
Worst place we’ve ever stayed. Was staying with 5 family members. Got the one bedroom suite with two queen beds and a pull out couch advertised as sleeps 6. Got to check in 3 people ahead of us all had “lost reservations”. Front desk lady bad talked all of them while checking me in. My hotels reservation went through no problem. Got up to the room noticed no blankets or pillows for the pull out. Called down said they had none available(then don’t advertise it!!!!) then the shower curtains were stained or dirty disgusting.

Staff was amazing, informative and very helpful, the room was very clean but the age of the property shows. Lights in the bedroom wouldnt turn on, but it worked out because we had a movie night with a projector so lights werent needed. Pull out bed didnt have any sheets and only one blanket was provided for it, but the queen beds were quite comfy. Overall, the kids had a complete blast in the swimming pool, having the kitchen made all the difference. Would definitely go back!
