Your front desk man Oneil was outstanding! Had a stressful situation and he resolved it like a pro! The room was clean and the bed was SO comfortable! Would have liked a small facial soap as I didn’t want to use the body wash. Excellent place to stay.

The breakfast had multiple choices which were good. The staff left doors to storage areas open which allowed guests to see messes. We were there Saturday to Monday and this was the normal routine. The staff member at the front desk spent a lot of time smoking. Once I had to go out to a shed in front of the motel to find the employees who were smoking in the shed. Pretty tacky. The room was nice and clean and the breakfast was good so you weigh the bad with the good. Thanks!

This is a very clean convenient hotel with a great breakfast. However next time I would ask for a room further away from the open breakfast area where there was loud talking starting at 5:45 am!

After a 35-hour cross country trip (and then the return journey of another 35 hrs!), we stayed at a LOT of hotels, and this one was one of the best. Very clean room, quiet, safe place, responsive staff, excellent hot breakfast offerings, and just a great experience. We'll definitely add this one to the good list!

Holiday Inn Express clean and comfortable.

The Holiday Inn Express in Rensselaer was clean and comfortable. We appreciated fresh towels daily. We also enjoyed the breakfast including omelets, pancakes and fresh fruit. The location is convenient to the highway and still close to downtown. One surprise was the amount of traffic noise from the highway, but we appreciated the blackout curtains to shut out the light.

Room was dirty. There was a dead cockroach on the window seal. I visit Rensselaer a few times a year and would never come back.
