For the record, I never review hotels, but felt compelled to review this one. My stay was amazing! This place is like a bed and breakfast with multiple rooms, large games room which includes pool table, darts and Foosball and a nice hot tub. It's located in the middle of the wilderness and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. We stayed during the winter and the road to access the place was a ;little harry. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you did not come in a 4x4 vehicle during snowy conditions
The gate to the property was locked and no one answered the phone so we could not stay here even though we had a paid/confirmed reservation. I am in the process of trying to get a refund.
Beautiful secluded location by the lake, makes you feel connected to the nature. Offers very relaxing spot to be with a canoes available on the site, swimming pool, hot tube and much more including delicious breakfast.

Nice hitel close to the water. Well laid out. Nice location.
Simple accommodations at a high price. Complementary breakfast only starts at 8. No sound proofing at all, you hear every conversation in the building. Lovely location but a fair distance from town.

Wonderful location. New owners are putting a lot of effort into updating the property (not that it was bad to begin with). Long steep gravel driveway down to the Inn was a little tricky to navigate on motorcycles.
Managers and staff gave 110% in hospitality, service, cleanliness and friendliness. A healthy and home made breakfast on the patio overlooking the lake and the mountains accompanied with the sounds of loons made us want to come back as soon as possible. Waterfalls and trails are close by and Revelstoke is only a 20 minute drive away. You will not want to leave this oasis in the mountains.

Very friendly staff. Hard to find (continue down the dirt road), but worth it.
Rick and cindy could not have been nicer or more welcoming.they had family staying as well as guests and they included us in their night even cooking all the guests a restaurant standard italian meal.
Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice.
The lodge is a little hard to find but views are worth the drive.
A little tough to get into on a motorcycle but once lakeside, it was a beautiful location. Our hosts Cindy and Rick are hard working, hospitable and friendly. Can't wait to see what they do next to continually improve the Inn.

In the middle of nowhere, lot of bugs.
Hotel manager is doing its best, but is not qualified for the job. For the amount of money I have been in much better places.
Dated motel look-a-like so called HOTEL. The place is filled with musquitos.
The entrance road is a mile long dirtroad.
No curtain for bathroom window.
Great for relaxing vacation! However difficult access off the road and 13 miles away from city, not the best location for one night stay.

Friendly Staff and Awesome games room
There were some things we liked and some things we did not. The staff working at the hotel/bed and breakfast were very friendly and helpful. We were informed when we arrived that the pool was not operation which was disappointing as was one of the reasons we decided to stay there.
We spent a lot of time in the games room which was great. We attempted to go down to the lake but the mosquitos were horrible - they will eat you alive.
The breakfast was really well done. Overall it was a good stay minus the pool & mosquitos.

Wilderness at its best
You are away from any city trouble but within 15 min in Revelstoke. Be clear about the location: it is in the woods close to a lake so in summer you do have mosquitos but the road to the B&B is adventure itself. the rooms are ok but not new. Staff is very friendly and we enjoyed the nature around a lot. Perfect for our one night stay.
We were thrilled with our stay at Mulvehill last week! Although it is a bit of a drive from town (Website, and Hotels.com should be clear about this!) we ended up taking a wonderful hike before returning to town and having supper. The remote location provided a welcome relief from the highway, as well as the delightful aromas of the cedar forest outside the windows. Staff were really friendly, and accomodating. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, and a real treat compared to usual road fare. Note: the rooms do not have air conditioning (not a big deal for us) or potable water (but they do provide you with plenty of bottled water if you need it. We will definitely return!
Dirty, unkept grounds, no lighting at night, spider webs and mouse fecies outside, lots of mosquitos, flys and wasps, no shampoo/conditioner in bathroom, no potable water.
This has just been bought out bt a Austrian company. The manager made us feel very welcome. He could not do enough for us. Beautiful setting by the lake and very peaceful. It is not in Town centre but about 12 miles from centre but I'd well sign posted. High recommend a stay here wish we had booked for longer.
