Takes a bit to love it

We stayed for 5 days and in the beginning we did not like it. Parking was hard, village was not that we hoped for and there was a maze of stairs to the room. But the rooms are very comfortabel, the breakfast is perfect and the staff is very accommodating. And the village is really good located to enjoy the rest of the beautiful environment and citys like Boppart. We would go there again.

This was the perfect spot for our family to stay. We had a spacious room for the four of us - with new furniture! The breakfasts were amazing. Everything was very clean. Parking was easy, just around the block.

Would stay again, staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great, rooms were clean and functional. AC would be nice, very hot summers night on our stay. A little tired in communal areas but definitely a good option. The desire to become automated is a bit a bit tiresome, loads of emails and online options/requirements. Probably good if you don’t like talking to people and check in late. Rhens itself has unfortunately seen its best days, worth a trip. Hopefully there can be some investment and reinvigoration.

1. Zimmer im Gästehaus über der Straße wurde uns zugewiesen. Beim Betreten des Zimmers sehr starker unangenehmer Geruch von Reinigungsmitteln entgegengeschlagen. Musste von uns gelüftet werden. Nach Besichtigung des Ortes und Abendessen noch immer sehr starker Geruch. Nochmals länger lüften. Lüftung hätte durch das Hotel vorher erfolgen müssen. Wussten ja, dass wir kommen. Beim auschecken angebracht. Richtig interessiert hat es nicht. Mit Ausreden abgetan. 2. Frühstück: Im Frühstücksraum war ein Handtuch am Boden !?, das nicht weggeräumt wurde. U.a. echte Stolperfalle. Die Auslagen für Wurst und Käse sind zu hoch angebracht und die Aufklappmöglichkeiten zur Entnahme umständlich und unmöglich. 3. Zu dem bezahlten relativ hohen Preis ist dieses Akzenthotel keine Empfehlung.

Er wordt aangegeven dat er gratis parkeergelegenheid is. Gebruik die NIET! Een steile onverharde weg naar beneden naar een onverharde parking. Naar boven bij droog weer is een uitdaging met opspattende stenen (en in mijn geval lakschade aan de auto), bij nat weer mogelijk een groot probleem om boven te komen. Na 1 dag parkeerde ik dan ook in de buurt van de kerk (ook gratis). Ontbijt is matig: jammer genoeg niet de knapperige Duitse ontbijtbroodjes, maar - naar het lijkt - oudere broodjes. Slechts één warm gerecht: roerei (geen spek, worstjes o.i.d.) En steeds weer moeten vragen om bij te vullen. Op de kamer geen koelkastje, geen mogelijkheid om koffie of thee te maken. Mag eigenlijk toch wel in deze tijd. Zeker als het warm is kun je geen koel drankje gebruiken (of even een kop koffie of thee maken). Verder prima kamer, netjes met prima badkamer. Weliswaar geen airco maar wél een ventilator! Restaurant is goed, maar als kok vind ik dat de kok aldaar erg ruim zout gebruikt en dat is jammer. Wat wel weer prima is, is dat je een kaartje krijgt waarmee je openbaar vervoer (bus, trein) gratis in de regio kunt gebruiken. Maar al met al mijns inziens een té hoge prijs voor de prestatie en de ligging (10 km van Koblenz)

Het hotel ligt in een klein, karakteristiek dorp. Zeer vriendelijke service, prima restaurant naast het hotel. Een nadeel: zeer warm op de kamer, bovenste verdieping en geen airco aanwezig.

Buone potenzialità, poca disponibilità.

La stanza ed il bagno sono ottimi, tenuti bene puliti, lenzuola e guanciali profumati, tutto questo spiega il giudizio positivo, anche la colazione merita più della sufficienza. Tutto questo viene mortificato da: - accoglienza pessima - porte aperte su ripostigli in disordine - cuccia per il cane a fianco del banco della reception, noi amiamo gli animali, ma la convivenza con loro deve essere una scelta non un'imposizione. - un sorriso, a costo zero, neanche a pagarlo oro - moquette sdrucita sulle scale, ma sopportabile se almeno ci fosse il gesto da dare un aiuto per portare le valigie a secondo piano (manca l'ascensore). Il gestore ha visto mia moglie scaricare una valigia dall'auto e mentre stava uscendo dalla hall, non ha neppure salutato. Tutto questo assieme al fatto che il paese non offre nulla, se non la strada che lo attraversa, e che venivamo dal Carlton President di Utrecht che costa 60 € in meno, ha una stella in più e tutto l'insieme spettacolare, ci ha lasciati completamente frastornati e con la voglia di andarcene al più presto. Probabilmente questo lavoro per i gestori non è una scelta, ma un'eredità e quando si lavora contro voglia i risultati si vedono.
