Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Had two nights both at the start and end of our trip and were looking forward to getting back to the pool here at the end of our holiday. Said they’d try their best to get us a ground floor room on our return, and they did. Would book again if passing through Rhodes for island hopping.

Little gem of a self-catering hotel, not far from the beach but the pool is great so no real need to go there. Bus close by for trip to Rhodes Town or Falaraki the other way takes 15 mins either way and not expensive. Will definitely come back. Hotel team were great and helpful. No bar at the hotel so bring in your own food and drink, no children so quiet.

A very pleasant stay at this small family owned hotel. Great service and extremely friendly owners and staff. Great pool area with a lot of available sun beds. Good location with restaurants and Supermarkets at the street 150 meters from the hotel. Perfect located with bus station 150 meters from the hotel. 15 minutes with bus to Rhodes Town and 10 minutes with Taxi.

Unfortunately only had two nights at the Stavros at the start of our island hopping trip, it was the perfect place we like to stay, spacious and clean room with a lovely balcony overlooking the great pool and beautiful tranquil gardens. Appreciated the little touches like a coffee machine with capsules, beach umbrella and some water on arrival. Nice location with good bakery, mini market, green grocers and few restaurants close by. (Big AB supermarket easy 15 minutes walk). Bus stop to roads town convenient but it does get really busy even in October. Thoroughly enjoyed our short but pleasant stay.

A lovely, relaxed atmosphere at this family-run hotel. It is perfect for families with young children as it is in a quiet, safe area with a wonderful swimming pool and close to two beaches. The local area is quiet, with some good restaurants nearby and it's only a ten minute drive to Rhodes old and new towns. Very happy that I booked this hotel.

A hidden gem

Stavros Melathron is a hidden gem. Tucked away down a short lane from the main road, you enter into an oasis of peace. A very special place. Apartments are lovely, well equipped and the addition of a large fridge freezer was very useful. All the apartments look out onto a very well maintained and attractive pool area with plenty of good quality sunbeds for everyone!

This hotel was an amazing place to stay at. Me and my friend came to have a relaxing short holiday from England to celebrate our birthdays and it was everything we’d needed. The staff were extremely helpful with our check ins and check outs considering we didn’t get in to Rhodes until 11pm and helping us get a taxi to the airport. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and beautiful. The pool area was lovely too and quiet. Thank you to all the staff at Stavros Melathron for giving us an amazing break and being so lovely. I will definitely be going back again and for longer.

A lovely chilled out holiday at this hidden gem!

Just returned from a lovely week staying at the Stavros Melathron. We asked for a ground floor room which was perfect for access to the perfectly manicured gardens and chilled out pool area. There were always sun loungers with umbrellas available regardless of the time of day so no need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve one! The rooms were well equipped and comfortable and were cleaned daily. The location of the hotel is in-between Rhodes town and Faliraki, with both easily accessible by bus or taxi, or if you hire a car, there is ample parking at the hotel. There are a number of very good restaurants, bakery, bars and supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel, so we didn't need to prepare any meals. Savvas the owner is really helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We were really impressed overall with everything during our stay and definitely intend to return.

Very friendly atmosphere in this hotel. The owner organized us a transport from the airport (40€) and back (35€). The taxi was a newish E-class Mercedes, so it was a very good deal. And the owner also came to greet us as we arrived although it was late in the evening. The room size was ok for four people. Our room was on the ground floor, with a superb and easy access to the pool. The room was equipped with a small kitchenette (micro, fridge, freezer, coffeemaker, cutlery) which was really good for making our own breakfast in the room from itelms we bought at the local fruit market and supermarket. (Note - there is no restaurant in the hotel itself, but a few restaurants in walking distance). The pool area is superb. Peaceful, as it is quite spacious and the hotel only has some 20 rooms. There os a small supermarket, fruit market and a few restaurants in 2-3 minutes walking distance. Of the restaurants the Greek Family restaurant next to the supermarket is very recommendable. It is easy to catch a bus to Rhodes city (2,50€ per person, buses go every 20 minutes or so from a local busvstop). Getting back with a bus in the evening is a bit tricky - although we explained that we wanted a tocket to route 40 and to bus stop F12, at the Rhodes bus terminal we were sold wrong tickets, on to a bus that drove direct to Faliraki. But this way we got to see that part of the island as well. Taking a taxi from Faliraki to the hotel cost 17 euros in the evening.

This hotel has everything travellers need. Super friendly staff, huge sized rooms, clean pool with easy access, restaurants and supermarket within a few minutes walk and the list goes on. If you need a base to explore the island from then this is perfect. It's away from the glitzy, pretentious crowds and the noisiest it will ever get is if the wind is blowing in right direction and you hear somebody cheering for their favourite team from within the sports bar nearby. Good, old fashioned service and well maintained grounds. A no-brainer in my opinion. Thank you to all there who made me feel welcome 😁

We had a nice stay here. The management are friendly kind, helpful. Drink and eat your own food round the pool with no problems. They helped us with taxis and local knowledge. The rooms are a like a little apartment with a small kitchen place and there was a double and two singles in our room. The poolside is clean tidy and attractive.

Perfect stay

From start to finish everything was perfect . Free Wi-Fi, free safe and rooms cleaned everyday . Nothing was too much trouble . Mr Costas the owners elderly father in law insisted on taking us to Rhodes Town when we was having trouble getting a taxi . The cleaner was always bright and cheery and always stopped to ask if you was ok and needed anything . Plenty of quality sun beds with cushions. Towels also provided which was an added bonus . All in all PERFECT

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für diese Saisonende Zeit hat gepasst, jedoch war der Müll vom Vorgänger noch in der Küche (bei der Ankunft). Nur ein Leinentuch war von der Innenseite um die Bettdecke gewickelt, sodass die Aussenseite keine Betthülle hatte, dass fand ich sehr unhygienisch. Ameisen befanden sich auch noch im Bad, warum auch immer….hätte ich eher im Küchenteil erwartet.

Fantastiskt fint och lugnt hotell med trevliga ägare! Toppenstädning och ganska väl utrustat kök (saknade en vass kniv och några fler skärbrädor). Stort kylskåp och en lite mindre frys. Stor fin pool som man inte behövde trängas vid. Flera restauranger och minimarkets i närheten, liksom biluthyrning och ATM. Ca 5 min till havet via genvägen vid grannhotellet.
