The kitchen was more than adequate except for glasses. The game cabinet was a shambles, puzzle pieces everywhere. My grandson and I probably spent two hours organizing it. Many of the boxes were damaged and need to be repaired.

Huge gorgeous cabin in the best location
This cabin was overall very impressive. Large fun open plan kitchen living room area was stunning. Loved the tall open windows with the view of the trees. Felt very private but close access to the main road. I really loved the close close proximity to Ramona Falls trail and even Salmon River trail. Hot tub was definitely an amazing treat after a good hike!

Winter trip

We really enjoyed our stay at Eagle Falls Lodge. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. It is very well located for exploring the area. We went on a drive each day. We went to Mt. Hood the first day, to the coast one day, to the Columbia River Gorge another day and the south on some scenic byways one day. The lodge was always a welcome place to return to each evening. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Family weekend getaway
We had a great time getting out of the city. The hot tub was amazing and relaxing. The stone fireplace was the best to cozy up to. Spacious house with lots of seating. Beds were quite small and could use new mattresses. Definitely could have used more firewood. What was provided did not last barely an hour per day. Overall we had a great experience and we loved the house.

The GOOD and the BAD
GOOD: Nice big space for a large group. Plenty of room. Three full baths is great, though one is an old-fashion claw club which is unlikely to be used. BAD: There are so many rules with attached fines, we were almost afraid to touch anything. For example: We would be charged if any furniture got moved. We have stayed at many places and they ask you not to move anything, which is fine, we try to follow rules. But with a large group, it's possible something might get slightly moved and to be threatened to be charged if that happens is a little over the top. Secondly, se were afraid to use the hot tub because if they found the water did not look right when our stay was over we would be charged 75-125 dollars for that. So we just left it alone. We know nothing about hot tub maintenance and that should be their responsibility. It just does not seem like a very hospitable place to us. . From the moment we arrived we saw that the dishwasher door comes down below horizontal and we were just certain they are going to try to somehow charge us for breaking the door.

Halloween get away
What a lovely way to get away from the Halloween craziness this year. So quiet and peaceful. The living room space is just lovely to relax in. Great surround sound for our family movie. Plenty of space for teens to get away and hibernate. Beds were comfy and abundant. Hot tub a definite plus!

Great weekend getaway!
We had a blast! Nothing like getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city, all while, not being in the middle of nowhere. The house is beautiful and tucked away nicely in the forest. We took an easy stroll on a well worn path down to the river and skipped stones. We played more games of uno and skipbo then you could ever imagine. Stores are very close and so much more to see within 20 minutes of the rental. Huge shout out to the managing company! They are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable stay!

Fun family vacation
The house was warm and welcoming. The hot tub was nice, the whole family enjoyed it. The house is nice and roomy, we had 3 generations and we all had space. We enjoyed some if the available games.. The kicitchen ked has the basics and is roomy. The upstairs bathroom needs some tlc, the shower backed up, and the jetted tub didn't work. There was lots to do locally.

Amazing Layout and Location, some furnishing was lacking
Amazing location and cabin. The layout of the rooms was great and helped the 7 of us stay out of each others hair. Our only gripe was that some of the furnishing was old and should be replaced. Just things like old warped rugs, worn out spring mattresses, the most egregious was the super-broken ancient dishwasher. None of this negatively affected our stay and I would still book this place again, but I would hope that some of these items would be replaced by the time I do.

large house nestled in the trees w/ lovely 2 story windows in Living rm, fireplace, NEW jacuzzi
Quiet, quaint with a little cabin feel in a big house. Enjoyed new Hot Tub. The living room with the 2 story windows and fireplace were a pleasure to sit and view the outside. It was so woodsy it was like camping while staying in a house. We had an enjoyable time. We were able to entertain with the dining table offering 6 chairs and the kitchen island having 6 bar stools. Comfort was effortless. The downstairs bedrooms were comfy. Upstairs is a big open room with a huge king bed, a trundle bed and a small queen? The management company never failed to answer the phone and they were a positive experience as I am a worry wart. They always made me feel good. I have stayed in many B&B's and the biggest problem has been working with 5 remotes just to get the tv to work. BUT this place was One remote, basic and simple. What more could you ask for after a busy day ::::))))

A perfect place to stay, even during a heat wave!
This was a bridal party retreat for a group of ladies. the home and hot tub were in great condition. It was a great place to gather, plenty of beds and rooms. most importantly it was very close to the zigzag river which was a welcome escape during 100+ freakish weather that just so happened to be the weekend we arrived. Although the house does not have AC , it stayed fairly cool with the 3 fans the house supplied.

Had problems confirming reservations. Told e-mails would be sent day of or day before reservation date. We were on road those days and unable to receive e-mails. Solved with change of emails to iPhone. Directions to property are confusing. Uses 10th of miles. My car doesn't measure 10th! Should read: Turn onto East Woodland Drive. Then left on East Woodland to Old Smokey (ignore Tigerlily sign, it's not a through street). Turn right on Old Smokey to McFarland Rd. Turn right on McFarldand to sign on lower right side of road to "25026". If you reach E. Hofeldt, back up 100 feet. It's the unit on the right.

Great cottage in the woods but still in the town
I choose this cottage just because of its great location. It was in close proximity to Lost Lake, Columbia River Gorge and other places worth seeing in the Hood National Forest. To top it off there is a mall just 5 mins drive away. The cottage itself was clean and well maintained. The hot tub was not working and so we were not charged for it. Few things to improve that can do wonders for guests: 1. Replace the battery in the TV remote. It was very very hard for us to use the remote as the battery were almost dead. 2. The internet wasn't as good as expected. We had let the host know that we all will be working remotely so internet is a must. Despite that they gave us wrong wi fi details We had to lose one day of work to figure this out. When we got the correct wi-fi details, the internet was super slow. So I would say the listing is not ideal for working remotely. 3. The queen bed on the second floor (unfortunately the bed I was sleeping on) was awful. It killed my back but the other beds were fine. My friends had no issues. 4. Please provide some clean supplies like surface cleaner etc to clean the kitchen and dining table post cooking/dinner. 5. The kitchen can use some pots and pans. We weren't carrying pots/pans and the one provided in the kitchen were not workable. Over all we had lots of fun and a comfortable stay. Our dog loved the property too.

We had a great time here. We were actually switched from another home by the rental property because the other had the hot tub die. They asked if we would be okay with this one and we were. It's a beautiful new cabin/house with hot tub, cable, streaming devices that you need to just hook up with your own account. Bathtub upstairs was deep and comfy. Hot tub was clean although the light was burnt out in it..no big deal. Nice gas fireplace inside and outside. Batteries were dead in the inside remote which we replaced. As far as kitchen, it's stocked great with dishes and appliances. It had salt and pepper and a few odd spices people had left. We donated garlic powder and steak sauce. Coffee is not provided, Tin foil or anything like that you need to bring. Beds on the firm side but nice. Blow drier was provided but you need to bring your own, shampoo etc as nothing was provided there. Would stay again. House is right next to a small store and an amazing wood fired pizza place with outdoor dining and firepits. We were only 7 min away from government camp which had lots of food options including Mt.Hood Brewing. Went snowboarding on Friday. Was a good experience for all. Mask policy currently us VERY strict here.

It was very nice in general. A few pointers given to property manager. Loved the jacuzzi tub in master bedroom and the use of so many Bathrooms altho not really needed was a plus. The outdoor hot tub is old and probably should just be replaced. In need of repairs but was able to soak and enjoy the therapeutic value of the warm water on tired bones and muscles. Close 15-30min to the mt hood which was a big plus. Little grocery stores nearby made it a easy drive if needed extra items. Kitchen could use a little stock of spices etc. But overall, we really enjoyed ourselves there. Joyce

Great space and layout for families wanting to get away and hunker down in the mountains. Close to all the Mt. Hood attractions but also cozy and comfy if you want to hang around the fire and play board games all day. We had a great week staying here and will definitely look to come back again.

Super cozy and beautiful
The house is very cozy and the fireplace and big windows make it especially beautiful. Our kids really enjoyed the hot tub. It was a great location too, close enough to Government camp to spend the days in the snow but easy to drive around Rhododendron where it was not snowing. Would definitely recommend this property. Plenty of space and well equipped kitchen though could use a pair of kitchen scissors. :)

Great for a group ski trip
Great location near the highway but far enough away that you feel like you're deep in the woods. We had a great stay and were only 15 minutes from ski bowl. The property was beautiful and comfortable!

This was such a great location to our Grandson’s wedding held at Kiwani’s campgrounds. I needed a kitchen to prepare food for a Wedding breakfast for the campers. Felt homey there. Had guests as well and they were so comfortable and had their own bathroom, too. We will return someday. Love the area!

The cabin overall was better than expected. The price was reasonable, and there were plenty of activities within a close driving proximity. The check-in staff were friendly, informative, and helpful. Surprisingly there was a fun BBQ shack with live music within walking distance, which had a menu that catered to meat lovers and vegetarians alike!

The listing doesn’t say or show the listing on packed in between two other houses. Hot tub not private. Location is not where shown on map. All the towels were still in the dryer. Cable tv had only a few channels. Inside waterfall feature don’t work. No stopper for tub. Outside area needs tlc. For a higher end rental you should spend your money somewhere else.

Our family had a fun get together at the beautiful Eagle hills Lodge. There were seven of us and our dog and we had more than enough room for everyone. The beds were comfortable with three bathrooms which was nice. The management company employees were more than helpful in making our stay very enjoyable. We made all of our meals at the lodge. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. It had plenty of dishes, glasses and cookware. The hot tub was great to soak in after a day of hiking. It is located in a quiet forest setting but is close to all of the local attractions. We would definitely recommend this vacation rental.

Lovely cozy place accommodating 10 people.
The house was clean and had an awesome sound system. We really enjoyed using the hot tub and fireplace. Place was warm at night. A tree fell on a house next door, but we felt super safe and weren’t interrupted. Couldn’t find cooking oil.
