Direct River and Beach access from our deck. Winter Sports paradise! Only 15 miles from Government Camp,OR. Downhill skiing is only 15 miles away Cross country is only 23 miles. Snowshoeing is five miles. Year-round skiing at nearby Timberline Lodge, summer training for the US Olympic Team. Snowmobiling and Kid friendly ( the gate to the river can be locked) with one bedroom on the main floor, it's perfect to bring grandma and grandpa along.
During the summer time enjoy hiking, jogging, walking and bike riding right out the front door. Sandy Ridge Trailhead
1 mile for mountain biking( all skill levels),Twenty seven holes of Golf are only six miles away at the award winning Inn at The Mountain. Rafting, kayaking, fishing, you name it!.
Come enjoy a stunning view, gather friends and family. Sleeps as many as 14! Perfect for large gatherings with a fully stocked kitchen, large living and dining space! Bedrooms: Master suite with seating area and Cable TV , 3 Bedrooms with queen size beds, Bunk room for Children sleeps 5~6 with Cable TV .Dining room has a large log style table and seats 12. Living room has two seating areas with large big screen TV, DVD player . WIFI through the house.

Great house, older cabin feel. Easy access to the river with beach area. It was great to sit on the deck and hear the roaring river. New carpet was nice.

Spacious cabin overlooking the sandy river

Spacious house for 3 families! We loved the view and the spacious hot tub. The bunk room was perfect for our younger kiddos.

Great Girls Getaway

Thank you for the lovely stay! We had our annual girl's cousins weekend and had two little ones under 1 with us. It was perfect for such a large group and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Everyone loved the house and it was well stocked!

Summer Solstice Party

Absolutely gorgeous property. We used this weekend to reconnect with each other. We had a wonderful stay. The huge table was perfect for board games. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was a lot of fun. We enjoyed the trails along the river. The weather wasn't our friend this weekend, but we'd love to come back and enjoy the river when it's warmer. Our only thing we struggled with was the Wi-Fi. It constantly dropped so we were unable to stream any movies or karaoke songs from YouTube. That being said it didn't stop our fun. Also the carpet in this house is the softest carpet I've ever had under my toes. Thank you again for giving us a safe space to hang with our friends.

Wonderful stay

This is a beautiful home. It was very spacious and at a great location. The house was well stocked for cooking family meals and entertaining. The furniture and decor was very nice and exceeded our expectations. I’d recommend this cabin and would stay there again!

A perfect family getaway

Loved this cozy house right on the river, which you can hear from almost every room in the house. It’s very clean, the kitchen was extremely well-equipped, and the deck was a perfect place to unwind with the hot tub and stellar view. Very nice hosts too, responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend !

Spectacular river access, easy trek to Hood

Great property! It was a perfect place for a couple of families to gather for a weekend on the mountain. The kids loved the bunkbed room, and the parents all loved having their own bedrooms without the kids! The hot tub has a particularly exquisite view of the river and surrounding forest. The house itself was perfect. Great soft carpets and even a massage chair! Would stay here again!

Perfect Beautiful Stay!!!

Rented this gorgeous home for my husbands 50th. This was the best equipped place I have ever stayed. The deck is enormous and the view and sound of the river while hanging out in the hot tub was amazing. We enjoyed game night, watching football and numerous home cooked meals. The hosts are incredible and get back to you so quickly should something come up. Perfect stay!!!

Beautiful, and so special.

First, you can tell when you arrive that this is a cabin that has been well loved and filled with memories over the years - which is something I loved about it. The views outside are absolutely amazing, and the property itself is on a little slice of heaven. The house itself was very well equipped for a group who loves to cook, and hang out together/play games. Wonderful stay, would definitely book again.

River Retreat

“This place is perfect”… I heard that phrase several times as our group of 9 enjoyed a visioning retreat in this well provisioned, well cared for Lodge. The Host and Caretaker were attentive to our inquiries and needs, clearly communicative and friendly. The setting is powerful, with the Sandy River a steady inspiring presence, conveying a sense of natural wonder. We are grateful for the experiences we enjoyed in the sanctuary of the Lodge.

Lovely home

Lovely property! It had everything that we needed except we had some difficulty with WiFi. However since we did not miss it too much we did not check in with owner about it so could be user error. There were some meandering trails within the neighbourhood but if you want a longer hiking trail, you will need to drive a bit. The home was well looked after and has a spectacular view!

A beautiful impressive listing that is worth way more..

It checked every box for my family of 15. We cooked everything thing there, the traeger and the grill are top quality. The hot tub and river access are great. Everyone in my group was so happy. And that is hard to do with 12 adults. Chris is great and communication is a strong point with him.

A Lovely Getaway

The location of this property is perfect! The back deck overlooking the Sandy River is awesome and the front porch is charming, a great place to read a book. The house is spacious and accommodated our family of 8 adults and 3 children nicely. Lots of cool wall decor and it had the lodge feeling with the beams and beautiful log furniture, creating a special ambiance. The kitchen was well-stocked and the owners thought of all the amenities. And, the hot tub on the deck was a hit with everyone, even in the rain. We will be back!
