"This apartment was located just steps away from the waterfront in this seaside town. It was spacious, comfortable and had a well appointed kitchen with a washing machine (bonus!!). Our host was very friendly and pointed us to some great restaurants. Just one negative … because it is so central, the weekend evenings tended to be loud until around 11pm. "

"We had an amazing stay! The location was great, not in the heart of downtown, but easily accessible by a nearby bus station. Close to shops, restaurants and a grocery store. Views of the ocean from the balcony. There was a beach club just steps away that we really enjoyed. We had a couple hiccups, but the host was prompt to respond. Would recommend!"

"Nice place, near the bus stop and close enough the shops and restaurants. Clean and well equipped apartment. We travelled with group of 4 persons and this was great fit for us as there was bathrooms and bedrooms for both couples and functioning kitchen. There was also enough extra blankets and heaters if having cold, but as we are from Finland, we didn't need those ;)"

"Santa Maria Maior was just as described and in a perfect location. We were minutes from the cable car and many wonderful restaurants and bars. Patricia greeted us and explained everything about the apartment and some tips regarding the area. She was delightful. Olivier checked to ensure everything went smoothly and wished us a farewell. As Americans living in Portugal I would recommend this apartment."

"room was ok for our short stay but would only recommend for short trips - we we’re located on the top floor and there’s no elevator. A lot of noise coming from the street with locals constantly fighting and sleeping at the main entrance door. "
