"Entering the home, you are instantly greeted with a view through the glass doors to the pool and the Caribbean Sea beyond. The family room is bright and spacious, leading either to the master bedroom and bath to the left, the two remaining bedrooms and bath to the right, or the indoor dining and kitchen area. Continuing through the well-appointed kitchen is a second access to the covered patio and large pool area.The entire home is clean and well-maintained. We did not utilize additional housekeeping services during our time here, but the option is there for you if you choose. While air conditioning is not always needed on the island due to constant trade winds, it was a welcome relief, especially during sleep, and the units worked flawlessly.The propane grill situated on the patio got heavy use during our stay and is a great way to keep added heat out of the kitchen during meals.As perfect as the home is, the patio and pool area are where it is all at! From the pool, you get 180 degrees of private Caribbean sea views looking North towards Woodland Beach and South to Old Town. An occasional passing sailboat or yacht only adds to the vibe. The large pool offered much-needed relief from the hours spent staring into the sea.We had zero issues during our 14-day stay and would not hesitate to stay at Villa Kurtena in the future and to recommend it to our family and friends. "I like the bathroom spacious a mirror over the sink would’ve completed. We were there for a wedding so a workable iron would be nice there was an iron there but with English voltage and would need a transformer. I also wished there was a kettle as I need a cuppa to start my day otherwise it was delightful. "

"We had the most amazing stay at Silk Cotton Villa! The Villa was high spec, clean, spacious (needed for our party of 9), it was cosy, well-located, and well equipped with all the amenities needed. The hosts have really given their property a lot of thought to ensure that you have everything to make your stay pleasurable. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was friendly, attentive, they were very responsive to questions and on hand for any support needed. I wanted softer pillows and I had them within 24hrs. They provided great local recommendations and assisted with places to visit as well as arranged tours and hikes. The amenities, such as WiFi, kitchen, parking, and speakers in every room, this allowed us to have some great entertaining evenings, and as the property is set back from all the others, you have complete privacy. You even have the option to play to isolate the music in your own room or an area. ie the pool deck. They even arranged for someone to get us fresh coconuts and mangoes from their trees in the Garden!!!. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Montserrat. As well as the tastefully decorated Villa, the scenery is equally breath-taking. waking up to daily sunrise and watching the sunset blows your mind. We would most definitely stay here again!""

"We had a fantastic 15days in Carpe Diem.The veiw from the veranda was amazing. The villa was comfortable and well situated, with in walking distance of the beautiful Isles bay beach. We hired a car for the duration of our stay which was essential it was through Joe Irish who was very helpful. The pool was lovely and a nice size. The surrounding area was a sun trap but also had plenty of shade. We were however disappointed to find that there were only two sun beds, which were both unusable. For our party of three the kitchen facilities were satisfatory. However, if the villa had been full i.e. six people it would have been difficult to eat at the villa due to lack of crockery and cutlery. The Isle Bay beach bar was really friendly and provided lovely meals at a reasonable price. It was our first visit to Montserrat it is a beautiful island and everyone was very friendly and we'd love to return. "
