The price was good. The staff was great… both helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was very good. Sweet tools were hot and good, not too big. They cook the bacon just like home so it is hot and crispy. Will stay there again.
The lighting around the property was good. I felt safe. The staff was very helpful and friendly the room was clean. The refrigerator needed a little attention.zit was very convenient to where I want it to be. I would stay there again.

Staff very kind and considerate and helpful. Was worried due to the number of people there for a convention but the room was insulated well and it was very quiet.
The room we first got the AC wasn't working well. The maintenance guy and front desk was nice to give us another similar room with a working AC unit. Such a helpful staff during our stay. Thank you.

I liked that it was close to Kings Dominion. It was very clean in the rooms, and they seemed to be poorly maintained.
The beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking space. Staff were helpful and friendly. Maintenance staff were terrible! My bathroom door knob never got fixed. Breakfast was okay.
When I arrived, my original room was dirty. The front desk staff upgraded me to a different room. The room was decent for a one-night stay. Some of the amenities were not able to be used (pool was closed). It was also very noisy by the ice machine area (not because people were using it).

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The first room we were given was very musty smelling and had food wrappers in the chair. Front desk gave us a second room and that one was clean but the mirror was on the floor reported it but it did not get fixed nor was our room cleaned on the second day. Plus the pool was closed indefinitely
The hotel and room were very nice but we had to wait 1 1/2 hrs to get our room. Apparently there was a competition on town and the hotel was overrun with rooms to clean. All staff were wonderful and professional but after a long day on the road….

The hotel was okay, but not in as good of shape as most Holiday Inns we have stayed at. The carpet had a big, noticeable rip in it and the trim in the bathroom was badly worn. But the room was clean and breakfast was fine and the location worked for us.
Hotels like this, I don't really expect much to begin with. The room did its job in providing us a place to sleep. The shower pressure was amazing. The hotel itself was in walking distance to McDonald's, Chick Fil A, and Cracker Barrel. Also a super short drive to a couple breweries, Walmart, and other places. That's about the gist of the good. My wife and kids slept on the king size bed, and I took the pull out sofa bed. I had to shake the bedspread because it had grit in it. We weren't going to change rooms after getting the kids settled. If someone let their door nearby close hard, your door shook in it's frame which was horrible at night. The pool was closed all three days. The breakfast was sub par and all the juices were out both mornings.
Lobby and breakfast room are very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Enjoyed a great breakfast there. Room was spotless. Entire property is well maintained
