Absolutely fabulous, like having our own wee house!!. Daphna a friendly greeting on arrival, was initially a bit nervous about the closeness of the house, but was quiet, private, absolute bliss. Only things I could fault was internet connection seemed to cut in & out- but who needs to be on the internet while discovering Nelson!, and could do with a couple ice bricks in freezer for picnics. Highly recommended, Richmond has everything you need and a great base to explore from.

Our stay at Lavender Studio was fantastic. Daphna was the perfect host. The property is beautiful. Close to public transportation to Richmond and Nelson. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to others.

Lovely studio apartment on homeowner property. Parking is off-street. Such a comfortable place to relax after a day of driving or sight seeing, with well manicured gardens as the view out your windows. Very easy to communicate with owner. Highly recommend this for your next holiday!

Handy to Richmond town centre, good direct route in to Nelson, lovely pool for cooling off (which we needed), and all you could need to self-cater plus a comfy bed. A good time was had by all.

We stayed the weekend in this charming large studio, separate and private from the main house surrounded by citrus trees. This was perfect for our weekend visiting family in the area. Off street parking was a bonus.

Stunning Location
Everything about the studio was perfect, it was well appointed with all that you would need. The Host was friendly and unobtrusive but at the same time helpful. Its own entrance created a very private setting. We would not hesitate to recommend to all.. thank you so much!

This property was well located to visit Nelson, Rabbit island and Kaiteriteri. It had everything we needed and was perfectly clean. Daphna our host was delightful. We looked out on a nice garden and didn’t feel overlooked.

Plenty of comfortable room to stay at Lavender cottage. It's close to shops, beaches, walks and Nelson. Daphna is,a lovely hostess and we would be happy to stay there again.

Great little Bach
A very nice Bach. Each morning woke up to the guests beautiful yard. The location was very convenient to our holiday plans, golfing, wineries and site seeing. We unfortunately could not hook up to the wifi. The saltwater pool was a plus and appreciate the host sharing her property with us.

A gem in the most beautiful region of New Zealand
I took a 4 days break from Auckland and find a very peaceful place in Daphna's home. Easy access nearby main roads (toward Abel Tasman Parc, or Rabbit Island), but still away enough to be a peaceful place with no noise. Everything you need is there (I was cooking most of my meals and did not need anything). The bed is comfortable. Daphna really takes care of her garden with lots of fruit trees, flowers and plants. I felt very welcome and my stay was just a success. Definitely a place I will visit again. Thanks for hosting me Daphna!

Great little cottage
Lovely little cottage, super tidy and clean, simple but had everything we needed. Great to have a full kitchen and option to prepare or cook our own meals. Very close to Richmond shops for supermarkets, food, shopping etc but also close enough to Nelson city if you want to go. Although the cottage is near the main residence it feels very private. Daphna was warm and welcoming but gave us our own space. Bonus to have access to a pool, we swam at the beach so didn't end up using it though. We really enjoyed our stay. :)

Simple but had everything we needed after a very tiring 10 days - including a very comfortable bed that we made ample use of! We enjoyed watching the birds in the garden and sitting out on the little private patio with a drink during the evening. What a lovely welcome we received from our host… like meeting family. We were delighted to discover this lovely place was much roomier than expected so we were able to spread out a bit for the three nights we were there. The garden setting is beautiful. Thlocation is not far from the Richmond shopping centre.

Fabulous stay
Daphna is a prime example of the Hostess with the mostess. She is fantastic, funny, kind and generous. We had a beautiful time there, even had a swim. The cottage was inviting, clean and decked out with everything we needed. Maddie the dog is funny and greedy. She knew exactly when we were having breakfast. The gardens are so lovely and peaceful and beautifully maintained and the proximity to the township is so handy. We would certainly stay there again. Thanks Daphna and I will post your book back.

Daphna is the penultimate host providing an exceptional Lavender Suite Bach that ticked all of our boxes! Clean, comfortable, self contained with all the amenities you could need.
