"A great option for a family stay in Basel. We were travelling from the UK. Could sleep up to 6 comfortably but only one bedroom - with two double beds. Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. Helpful touches were the two Swiss electrical adapters for the Swiss sunken style power outlets (normal round European adapters don’t fit!) as well as a kettle and toaster. "Charmingly appointed studio uphill from town of Lenzkirch in Southern Black Forest. Private balcony with nice views was perfect for breakfast and sitting in the evening. The only slightly minor initial inconvenience was having to get the key at a different location. Owners Christine & Gunther were very easy to communicate with and provided many local suggestions via the rental guidelines which they kindly translated into English before our arrival. :) ‘Loved our stay in the Black Forest!!"

The only downside was the lack of sound proofing meaning noise from people walking in the apartment above, talking on the stairs and the landlord on the phone next door (I was in the garden apartment and his office is next door. I didn't use the TV so don't know if there were any English channels but presume there were as it was Apple TV. Decent...

"This property was more than I could have hoped for. It had plenty of room, with everything that we needed. The host was very helpful and the place was immaculate It was close to hiking locally and close enough to charming towns by the Rhine river. Really close to the Swiss border too."

There is nothing to fault on the property, everything you could possibly need is available and in working order. The first time in over 30 years of renting properties we are seriously thinking of returning to a property. Well done!!!"
