Beautiful villa and scenery

We spent there ten wonderful days together with our children and Oma. The house is more beautiful than in the pictures. Spacious and practical. Elegant but not overdone in terms of decoration. The well-equipped kitchen and the comfortable beds make you feel like home. Travelling with a baby who puts everything in his mouth we particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the house which is quite remarkable considering the size of it. The location of the villa is very picturesque, peaceful and relaxing. You feel in the middle of nature but not isolated at all. The host was very friendly and forthcoming. Communication was great and everything was done to address our needs. We definitely recommend the house for a comfortable and beautiful stay in the Black Forest.

Quiet Country Location

Fantastic property in quiet rural area with everything needed for a perfect stay. Plenty of space for our group of 3 adults. There are wonderful walks from the door and the property is in a good location to explore the southern Black Forest. The property is within hour of Zurich and Basel and was an ideal base for us to use for the Women's Euros quarter finals.There is a supermarket and restaurant in Rickenbach which is only 5 minutes by car or 25 minutes walk on country paths.Michael is a super host, providing effective communication and easy to talk to.

Absolutely splendid

The house, surroundings, the host, the communication, everything was top notch. Michael (the host) is an incredibly nice guy who made us feel extremely welcome. There is nothing to fault on the property, everything you could possibly need is available and in working order. The first time in over 30 years of renting properties we are seriously thinking of returning to a property. Well done!!!

Prima huis, alles was aanwezig wat je nodig had. Het is ook een groot en schoon huis. Het enige nadeel was, dat onze hond de wenteltrap naar de tuin niet naar beneden durfde. Maar gelukkig hadden we wel een andere ingang naar de tuin voor de hond gevonden.

Leider ist das Haus nicht so hundegeeignet. Es fehlt eine komplette Umzäunung. Dafür das pro Hund pro Tag 25 extra verlangt wird und kein wirklicher Gegenwert vorhanden. Keine Decken, keine Näpfe und in den Garten geht es auch nur über Gitterrosten. Der Garten war leider nicht gepflegt.

Wunderschönes Haus in schöner Umgebung

Wir waren mit einem befreundeten Pärchen da und waren sehr zufrieden mit der Einrichtung. Besonders Küche und Kaminzimmer haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles war sehr sauber und im Schnee auch wirklich eine schöne Kulisse. Vor Ort war die Kommunikation auch gut und zuvorkommend. Allerdings waren mit der Kommunikation zuvor nicht ganz so zufrieden. Auf Fragen wurde nicht eingegangen und auf Mails nicht geantwortet. Wir haben nur eine Mail erhalten zur Vertragsunterschrift - ohne Rückmeldung, ob dieser dann auch gut angekommen ist. Dann kurz vorher nur einen Kommentar, wen wir vor Ort zu kontaktieren hätten. Die notwendigen Infos wurden zwar gegeben, aber über ein bisschen mehr Höflichkeit und die Beantwortung unserer Fragen hätten wir uns sehr gefreut. Öl und Strompreis wurden unserer Ansicht nach auch sehr stolz und über dem aktuellen Marktpreis berechnet, dies ist aber vor der Buchung schon bekannt und somit klar kommuniziert.

Schitterend huis op een geweldige locatie

Wij zijn in de zomer 1 week in Landhausvilla Mayerhof verbleven. Het is een zeer grote woning met veel ruimte, en woning is brandschoon! Wij hebben het hier geweldig naar ons zin gehad. Perfecte uitvalbasis voor mooie wandelingen maar ook zijn er leuke dingen te doen op rijafstand. De eigenaar is erg enthousiasts en niets is teveel.

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen in diesem Haus verbracht. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist super, der Gastgeber sehr nett. Dank des guten Wetters konnten wir den tollen Garten oft nutzen. Die Umgebung bietet sehr viele unterschiedliche Möglichkeiten für Aktivitäten. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen.

Dejligt udgangspunkt for oplevelser i det sydlige Schwarzwald.

Dejligt velfungerende hus at være i. Køkkenet er veludstyret og skønt at lave mad i. Og også et dejligt sted at opholde sig. Haven er fin i godt vejr. Naturen omkring er meget tiltrækkende. Vi havde mange skønne ture i området med masser af smukke naturoplevelser og både Schweiz og Frankrig ligger ganske tæt på.

Die Villa entspricht genau der Beschreibung auf der Website, sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Tolle Landschaft, aber leider von der Infrastruktur etwas verlassen, Gasthäuser, die auch geöffnet sind, sind Mangelware. Selbstversorgung aber kein Problem, alles Notwendige ist schnell erreichbar.

Erst einmal vielen Dank für die Freundlichkeit mit der wir empfangen wurden, das Ferienhaus ist in einem gepflegten Zustand und sehr sauber, sodass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Michael war jederzeit bei Fragen zu erreichen. Die Landschaft ist wundervoll und sehr idyllisch, so konnten wir uns super entspannen. Leider war der Geschirrspüler defekt, was laut Vermieterangabe auch vor unser Anreise bekannt war. Ebenso fehlte ein Teil am Grill, was die Nutzung einschränkte. Ebenso ist zu erwähnen, dass die Nachzahlung vom Strom mit 60 Cent pro kwh deutlich teuer ist, als die aktuellen Durchschnittspreise von 35 Cent pro kwh. Ich danke dem ganzen Team für unseren tollen Aufenthalt.

Wunderschönes Haus, perfekt zum Erholen

Zwischen Weihnachten und Silvester 2022 suchten wir eine schöne Unterkunft um ein paar Tage vom Alltag zu entspannen. In diesem wunderschönen Haus und der herrlichen Gegend haben wir all das gefunden. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, durch das Haus geführt und dann fing der Urlaub an. Es ist alles sehr liebevoll dekoriert und arrangiert; sehr gerne saßen wir an dem großen Tisch bei leckerem Essen mit sehr guten Gesprächen. Nach ausgiebigen Spaziergängen freuten wir uns auf einen guten Film im Homekino und ließen den Abend mit einer wohltuenden Dampfsauna ausklingen. Wer Entspannung und Ruhe abseits vom Alltag sucht findet dies dort. Zu erwähnen ist noch die tolle moderne Küche, diese ist komplett ausgestattet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Fantastische Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist toll.Die Sauna ist hervorragend, die Ausstattung generell sehr gut. Sauberkeit für diese hohen Räume sensationell gut. Ein highlight ist die Leinwand mit Beamer. Netflix ließ sich hervorragend über den mitgebrachten PC schauen. Das 3. Schlafzimmer ist ein Durchgangszimmer in das untere Bad. Für eine Familie sicher kein Problem für eine Nichtfamilie evtl. schon. Erwähnt werden sollte auch das die Nebenkosten Strom und Heizung separat beglichen werden müssen. Ein nicht unerheblicher Betrag der zwar nachvollziehbar ist aber der in der Anzeige nicht erwähnt wird. Fairerweise muss ich erwähnen, das im Anschreiben des Vermieters darauf hingewiesen wird und man rechtzeitig entscheiden kann ob man die Buchung beibehält. Alles in allem aber ein wirklich besonderes Haus welches uns gut gefallen hat.
