"We were going to an evening event at Stratford Hall (about 25 min away). There is so much history in the area. Beautiful spot on the river. The screened in porch was the bomb! Huge. So relaxing. Well stocked. Easy check out. Do pay attention to room configuration. The bedroom with twins was a loft like area but had the nicer bathroom. We used the kayaks. Had everything we needed. Host communication was great despite Vrbo platform was a challenge."

"The location and view was awesome. It was calm and inviting. The staff was very helpful and kind. Although the rooms could use work, the atmosphere and the views from our room made up for it. It’s feels and is a kind of “ma and pa” place. To my wife and I it was a great get away and a great place to detox from the world outside."
The Inn at Leonardtown, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"The room was pretty clean. The toilet was not secure on the tile floor so when you sat and got up it moved. The tub could've been cleaned better and there was an unpleasant odor in the hallway and stairway. Room walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbor talking through wall."
"The rooms we had were newly renovated. Everything was new. New paint, new floors, new bedding. So, it just felt clean. The only thing I didn’t like was there was no coffee in rooms or the lobby. Other than that, it was perfect for us."
"I was hoping for the indoor pool to be open but it wasn’t and I don’t think it indicated that on Hotels.com site. But it seems anywhere we go the pool is rarely open unless it is an outdoor pool! Otherwise they do have a breakfast but it only was small, bagels, cereal options, fresh fruit, a few other things but all in all very limited.
Great room nice to sleep and had no other problems.
Definitely closer than most of the hotel options in area. Very accessible to all of the things we chose to do. Closest was Myrtle Point Park which we recommend going to!"
"This house was perfect for a short summer getaway with our family, including our 2 grandkids! The beds were super comfortable and the layout of the house worked perfectly for two couples and a family of 4. The boardwalk in Solomons was lovely with beautiful sunsets. We loved the outdoor sculpture garden, the Calvert State Park cliffs by the beach and the awesome mariners museum. The food at the Pier was outstanding, as was the ice cream shop next to the bait and tackle place down the street. All in all, this was a great visit! Glad we found this house to accommodate us so well!"
