"Beautiful location, was lucky enough to come in during a spring snow. So quiet at night you can hear the trickle of the stream and frogs croaking. An amazing porch to sit on and enjoy nature. The house was clean and warm when I arrived. Lots of space, and it was nice to have a full kitchen as well as the washer and dryer. Close to town, food options, and hiking. Owner was friendly and very easy to get a hold of. Will definitely try to stay here when I’m in town!"

"Front staff named Morgan was excellent, very polite and helped when ever needed something. The lady that was there on Saturday March 14th for the day shift was not she was spending her time talking to a older gentleman named Bobthat she knew and would give him cookies when she worked at Wendy’s. We had a issue with the toilet and needed towels but made a note that said that we had a do not disturb sign on the door which we did not, so when we got back the the room at 9:30 that night Morgan come right up with towels and fix the problem with the toilet "

Listen...if you want a trip filled with off road excitement look no further. We trailered to Bear Wallow only because didnt want that much hard top of newer tires. Literally everything else went right from this property. Everything we needed was here except the groceries we wanted. Convenient fuel 4 miles away woth more friendly folks. Plenty of room for multiple groups. We just had our favorite friends with us...3 of our furr babies! Mama Beagle even did 2 trails with us! Thank you again a d we have our go-to HM/Mingo county vacation stay now!"

"We rented two rooms and after dark someone had a key and opened the door to my son and his wife’s door. They had cameras down stairs but no one saw anything. There was no hot water at the sink. The rooms were clean but there were several sketchy looking people around even saw one guy arguing with no one. "
