We love going to big cedar before school starts, and the Wilderness Club lodges are the perfect solution! Roomy, tidy, and provide all kitchen essentials needed. Highly recommend booking this way for a stay at big cedar!
This property was exactly as it was described in the listing. Clean, easily accessible and the property manager was efficient with the communication. Big Cedar is an excellent resort with many dining options, kids and outdoor activities. Would highly recommend the wilderness club at Big Cedar.
Friendly staff, clean, room service for food, we had family suite which has washer dryer, free bus transportation around resort, several restaurants on site and pools. Watched deer from balcony in the mornings, and saw them around the grounds too. Kids love Fun Mountain bowling arcade and 2 story laser tag on site. Only like 15 mins to Branson for so much more. The resort host was very nice and one of the best experiences i have had.
Resort is great, room was as expected, but being on bottom level wasn’t great because the walls and floors are thin and we could hear every step made above us.
BEWARE, your stay at Big Cedar may not be as expected. Upon arrival, they will charge you ten dollars per night to access Big Cedar’s facilities, and any parking within Big Cedar comes with a ten dollar fee. Additionally, due to this experience, I've decided not to use VRBO again. I discovered these issues before my arrival, and despite Bluegreen confirming over the phone that they are not affiliated with Big Cedar, there was no effort to resolve the situation.

Wilderness condos at Big Cedar
We were in Branson for a wedding and most of the guests were staying at one of the Big Cedar Lodges. In planning, we missed the Lodge room opportunity and had to rent a condo on the Big Cedar Property instead. The condo was a bit dated but was spacious and clean. Two issues: VERY loud family in the condo above us starting around 6:30am each morning. Two, we were not told when check out was and assumed it was 11am just like Big Cedar lodges. Turns out check out in the condos is at 10am and we received a very rude phone call from the front desk asking us to vacate the property immediately. Granted it was our mistake since we assumed same check out time as Big Cedar Lodge where the other wedding guests were staying, but the person on the phone could have been much more polite and understanding at our mix up.
