City Lodge hotels in Rietvlei Nature Reserve, Johannesburg

Very good airport stopover hotel

Relative new hotel in a marvelous designed entertainment area Staff highly motivated and friendly The food in KOI the Resturaunt attached to the Hotel with Asian Fusion menu Well worth a visit!!

We did our South African wedding here 7 years ago and returned for a family reunion. I love this place!

Well impressed to say the least. Everything was top class. Staff, Food, Rooms, comfort. This place has oodles of personality too and is incredibly well decorated. I was given a guided tour of the outdoor pool, spa area as well as dining rooms, private function rooms and accomodation sections and I also learned about the history of the building, owners and some of the more famous guests that have stayed here!! Special mention to the chef too! - Both Dinner and Breakfast were amazing.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Hower NOBODY bothered to show us how to use the coffee machine, tv and aircon. The breakfast was not what we ordered and when we complaint about it, they brought us a bunch of cookies that fell apart with no taste and crumbed so much we could not even butter it.

Stayed to have a rest before a long flight. Great shower and very comfortable bed. The room was so spacious and had place to put a suitcase.

The room was spacious, quiet and wonderful. The food was excellent and so was the service. An amazing experience that will bring us back time and again

close to airport with good bus provided

Safe nice place and friendly staff. The only challenge is that parking is tight, no space to maneuver.
