Welcome to Solitude! A cabin in the woods that was designed to bring the natural world into the comfort of the interior. Located on 3 wooded acres, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, Solitude embodies the essence of simple living.

We spent 4 nights at Solitude celebrating our 4th anniversary (actually 24 years together). The cabin, property, and area were just perfect for us and our dog. So relaxing to use the hot tub or sit by a fire after a day of exploring the Skyline Drive, Luray Cverns, the Civil War museum. Cooters was a hoot and dog friendly!

This is a perfect house in the woods for a couple or to get away by yourself. We took a much needed break from home and the office to go and loved the experience - like qe were the only people around! Cozy, comfortable, and just what we needed.
