"The staff are lovely and the location is great The rooms are dated and need refurbishment. The bed was uncomfortable and the king size bed was covered with two small sheets rather than one big one. The sink had a big crack in it. I wouldn’t have sold that room with that sink. There’s a lot of noise from restaurant patrons leaving and the people in the rooms above made a lot of noise at 2am. "Wir waren zum Jahreswechsel zu viert mit zwei Hunden in der Unterkunft und wir waren mit Größe, Aufteilung und Lage der Wohnung super zufrieden. Die Gegend ist perfekt zum wandern und entspannen. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hat uns spontan mit Equipment ausgeholfen, welches wir vergessen hatten. Ein paar Sachen könnte man noch überarbeiten, das haben wir jedoch schon kommuniziert und das ist auch meckern auf hohem Niveau. Danke für den entspannten Aufenthalt! :) "

"This hotel has so much potential unfortunately it wasn’t to the normal standard that a three star German hotel is. The restaurant was open from 6 pm till 8 pm for dinner if you arrive at 7:45 pm it’s too late and that is ridiculous as for breakfasts The cheeses and hams and eggs weren’t replenished so choice was greatly limited. "Excellent breakfast, and free bottled still & sparkling water available at all times. The names of the rooms are very misleading. We booked a superior twin room. We questioned whether indeed we had been allocated the correct room, and were told that we had.The room was very small and no tea & coffee making facilities. A very basic room. However. it had a good size bathroom with a nice walk in shower. It also had a small balcony with 1 chair. We enquired about the next category up - "Privilege" room for our next stay in Hameln. This is a bigger room & does include tea & coffee and bathrobes. But alot more expensive. If you don't mind a smallish room and don't think "superior" just normal, this hotel is located conveniently in walking distance of the town (through the park). And to reiterate the breakfast is really good and the free supply of drinking water was very much appreciated. Especially as we stayed during a heatwave >38°. NB There isn't any air-conditioning in the hotel. But very few hotels in Hameln have air-conditioning. The breakfast staff were excellent and friendly and the majority of the receptionists were friendly. But one of the younger female receptions was quite surly. We didn't see or use the sauna or swimming pool."
