"At checkin, system was down and we did not get the room we paid for. This was corrected by Frontdesk later that evening. Hotel has huge windows with amazing views but in June (summer) the hotel becomes a furnace. The room and public areas were just too hot for our comfort. There are no airconditioned rooms or areas in the hotel and we could not excape the heat other than go back in our car and drive around. Our misfortune was that our checkin was December 24 and most services (F&B, Spa) were just not available. Breakfast (xmas morning!) was nothing particular. Just plain continental without any xmas atmosphere. Maintenance is needed as many areas show damaged woodwork and painting opportunities. All in all not the experience we expected. This hotel is probably a better choice in winter time."
