The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, and made good recommendations for restaurants in town. They organized all of our ground transportation as well."

"We had an excellent stay at Mata n’ativa! Fabiano and his staff are super attentive to all details. All spotless clean. The pousada is in this small oasis with little monkeys, birds and a lazy cat. Close to the beach and the Quadrado, but we recommend a car to get around. We recommend this Pousada 100%. "

"Absolute paradise, stunning and magical! The rooms are gorgeous, a combination of rusticity and luxury, the surrounding nature is amazing, breakfast was delicious and varied, drinks by the pool were heavenly. The village square is a short walk from the hotel and every restaurant is excellent. We only wish we had more time to try them all. Trancoso is unlike anywhere I’ve ever been and this hotel captures its essence perfectly."
