Great Stay and location… steps from Copacabana beach. Professional staff, Special Thanks to Martins, Concierge, for all his help, and the Reception Person on arrival Sept 19 and the same person( on check out Sept 23) Sorry could not remember your name. Large room, good linen & towels and toiletries. And the fabulous breakfast!!! Don’t forget to walk to Ipanema Beach- 2 klms. Beautiful différent landscape. Hoping to go back!!!! Thanks to all staff Hotel Canada!!! Great Value!!!! Francine & John

Bring from Canada it seemed like the natural option to stay here. I have to say that the hotel staff here is the most helpful of anywhere I’ve ever stayed. Especially Afonso at the front, he answered all my many questions and helped me with my tour of the city! The hotel was comfortable and in a great location.

The location is great, a block away from the beach and near by all stores. The hotel is a outdated and there were some issues with water in the rooms. There was no water to shower one day for a couple of hours.

Good location close to the beach in Copacabana. Good service for a budget hotel. Held our bags last day in Rio as we explored. Room is fine for exploring not fancy but clean and spacious. Excellent air conditioning.

Good value for the price at a central location
This is a typical mid-level Brazilian hotel. I booked one of the more basic room categories and it was clean, comfortable, and cozy. AC was a trifle noisy but it worked. Plenty of hot water and functional Wifi. The breakfast was very good and varied and the staff (shout out for Ana and Martins) were friendly. The hotel is just a few blocks from the beach and a 10 minute walk to the Metro station which will connect you quickly and easily to most destinations in Rio. This was excellent value for the location and a worthwhile pick if you are staying in Rio and don't want to break the bank.

Pro: Felt safe at hotel. Reasonable rates Breakfast was fine Cons: Internet was okay, but could be better Could not or would not allow me to pay in Brazilian Reals with a Canadian credit card. It cost me 6.99%

WE just stayed for 2 nights not enough for a full assessment but for the 2 days was okay. We like the hotel it was near the beach and the and accessible to every thing except the shopping mall. Stall at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much.

Cozy, comfortable hotel in Copacabana
Nice hotel in the heart of Copacabana. It may not be a modern luxury hotel but it's cozy and comfortable. Only a five minute walk to the beach. The staff was very friendly and their English was excellent. And their breakfasts were amazing.

Worth it!
Location - Excellent Breakfast - Excellent Room - Ok - old but well maintained WI-FI - work sporadically Staff - Nice people Bit noisy too. All in all worth the money if you compare to Rio's room rates.

Ótimo custo benefício. O hotel é muito bem localizado, tem ótimos bares e restaurantes muito próximos (dá para ir à pé). É uma região movimentada, então é segura. Colchões, travesseiros e roupas de cama de boa qualidade. O quarto e banheiro são espaçosos, localizado na parte de trás. Não tinha vista (a janela era entre os prédios mas era ventilado, silencioso e tinha blackout nas janelas. O ônibus executivo do Galeão me deixou na esquina da Santa clara, só precisa andar dois quarteirões. O Café da manhã é bom. Recomendo!

O banheiro tinha um cheiro muito ruim. Mesmo pedindo pra limpar, não melhorou. Tinha um conserto na parte elétrica e ficamos sem luz uma manhã inteira, sei que pode acontecer, mas foi complicado!

Buona la posizione e la colazione offerta. Camera pulita, ma priva di qualsiasi isolamento termico o acustico. Aria condizionata vecchia , mal funzionante e rumorosa a tal punto da rendere necessario l'uso dei tappi alle orecchie per dormire

The suite is very poor and ugly. It does not worth the price, definitely I will not stay oh this hotel in the next visits. The workers in the reception are very rude. O quarto é muito feio e as fotos são super produzidas. Deveria custar 10 vezes menos. Não voltarei neste hotel nas próximas visitas.

Hotel maravilhoso
Funcionários muito educados e gentis, quarto limpo, sendo que a organização e troca de lençóis, toalhas e etc ocorria todos os dias e de modo impecável. Excelente banheiro, com água quentinha. O café da manhã poderia ter mais variedades a cada dia, pois passamos 5 dias e praticamente eram as mesmas coisas mas com bastante variedade e muito gostoso. Nós gostamos muito da hospedagem e caso volte, me hospedarei novamente no hotel Canadá.

Todo estuvo bien, buena ubicación, lo que no me gusto fue que en los 5 días que estuve no nos cambiaron las toallas, desayuno aceptable, el personal muy amable, a 2 cuadras de la playa, lo recomiendo
