"My visit started badly because they had no record of my booking. Only after I showed them my confirmed booking did the receptionist stop trying to make me pay for one of their two remaining expensive rooms and referred to a superior. The place is expensive for its condition, by Guatemalan standards, but OK if you tell yourself you are supporting orphans. (The place is run by an outfit supporting orphans.) "Very clean room, spacious, nice staff and friendly, the pool was clean and nice and the location is great. The restaurant needs more writers because when there were many people the food took much time to arrive and was cold. But everything else was amazing, including the staff in the reception who helped us with booking tours and everything we needed. Very recommended hotel!"
