"The villa was very well kept. Kudos to Jeremy,Maria and Mercedes for keeping the villa maintained. The location was ideal for privacy and security. The beach was fantastic. One of the best things about the trip was listening to the ocean surf and feeling the warm breeze. Truly a paradise. "We had a wonderful time. The property needs a generator due to the constant power outages that affect both electricity and water supply. AC in the master bedroom did not work. The property manager and the caretakers were excellent. Very helpful and made our stay a pleasure. Chris Medina from Everything Under the Sun (http://underthesundr.com/) planned our activities. He was excellent. He was personally involved every step of the way and really took care of us."

Toilet paper and soap were purchased before they were delivered. No instructions about anything in the house. The management agency closed on the weekend and assigned person did not answer his phone. We ran out of and had to buy our own drinking water-no one replaced. Sunday we had no running water in the house and were only able to reach the maintance man...

Awesome 30th birthday/college reunion trip!
"We booked with Barefoot way in advance and had a lot of time to hype up the trip - and it well exceeded our expectations. We had a group of 24 college friends celebrating our 30th birthdays/college reunion and the property is awesome - tons of space with the rooms all with their own bathrooms, plus tons of outdoor covered space, the bar, loft, pool, and not to mention the whole beach right in front of you. We enjoyed all of the food that was prepared, especially the pig roast and Dominican Night. Nina helped arrange a delicious dulce de leche birthday cake for us. The staff were so friendly and always ready to help or mix us another drink. The villa arranged all of our outings and shuttles which made things so easy for a central place to coordinate and pay on one invoice. We had a great time on our cave hiking tour and catamaran sunset tour. We hope to make this a recurring trip and would not hesitate to book with Barefoot Beach Pad again!"
