"This stay was everything I needed. The staff was very helpful and considerate. My only advice to travelers is to consider taking a taxi to get there, as the walk from the train station (and vice versa) is about a half hour, mostly uphill."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at B&B Il Sentiero. The property is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly well maintained. The owners are amazing—friendly, welcoming, and always available to help. Communication before and during our stay was excellent, making everything easy and stress-free.
The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. Every detail reflected the care and attention the hosts put into making their guests feel comfortable.

"It’s more of an Airbnb-type accommodation rather than a hotel. Check in and check out were fully virtual but the host was responsive and made it easy enough. The parking is offsite and the hotel is a bit hidden but overall a good price and in a central and convenient location. The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable."

"I wish we’d stay longer. The property was amazing, matching such beautiful surroundings and sights of lovely Porto Venere! Also, the service and care shown by Giovanni is unmatched. From before our arrival until our departure, he made sure we were settled and made us feel as if we were the only guests on the property. "

"Soggiorno eccellente alla Locanda dei Banchieri! Stanza spaziosa con una splendida vista mare. Colazione ottima e super abbondante. Una nota di merito al personale, davvero molto cortese e disponibile. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo anche la piscina e l'idromassaggio. Consigliatissimo!"

"This apartment was centrally located. The bed was comfortable. No AC but the fans worked well. There are lots of stairs to get to it so not easy with luggage but not terrible. The host is very nice and easy to work with. "

"Cute little b&b, the owners were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with typical options. Location was quiet and rooms were spacious.

"The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. Lovely room and excellent, ample breakfast. Shower is tight for a plus-sized person. Parking very easy, but the peculiarities of house numbering in Carrara make it difficult to find the B&B location, which is located not near #18 and behind another group of houses numbered 16. Still, I highly recommend this B&B!"

"The only negative was that it’s kinda a hike to get there, but that’s expected with the terrain! Just be prepared if you have luggage! Besides that it was an amazing stay and everything was well taken care of!"
"It is a good location and an okay property, but it lacks character. The rooms are clean but are very blah! The breakfast was good, but the breakfast area felt like a makeshift location. I was expecting a bit more from a 4 star hotel."
"We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Hotel del Sole to all! The location is perfect - at the top of the main street in town. We were so close by but not in the middle of the action. The property is quiet, comfortable, and the service was outstanding. The owner was amazing and sat down with us to show us maps, helps us get discounted train & trail passes, plan our train times schedule and more. You can’t go wrong staying here - book now!"
"The place is excellent, you go up directly from the train station by elevator. Rebecca contacted us and received us excellently. Very attentive and nice. The view is beautiful. To walk around the city and silver the location is excellent. Also to walk to Manarola and the rest of the towns by train. It is the best town to be in Cinqueterre, the beach of Manarola is excellent for swimming"
"We walked out of the train tunnel, turned right and walked a little way up the hill and then cut back up to the right to find the 5 Terre Palagos office. Loris greeted us and help d us buy Park passes, set up a sunset boat ride, and then walked with us up to the Palagos 1 property up the hill. This property is away from crowds and was quiet with doors and windows closed. There is a cute patio area with views of the terraced mountain. It was right next to a delicious and very romantic foccacaria. The room was serviced daily while we were out and had coffee and light breakfast snacks replenished daily. I loved being in a place further away from the tourists. It was not too bad going up the hill and flights of stairs because we always pack light. It was cozy and clean."
