"Location, Location, Location. In nice little rustic cabin. It was perfectly located next door to the Green Gables Golf Course and the Green Gables Heritage Centre and its walking paths. Further along Cavendish Road you are walking distance to Avonlea Village and its bike rentals and restaurants. Minutes away are both the beautiful Cavendish Beach and North Rustico Beach. There is also mini-golf and small amusement parks a short drive up the road."

"We had a wonderful stay. Rooms, property and pool were very clean. Staff, both front desk and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was as you would expect in a buffet breakfast room - some stuff you like, some you don't. We were very pleased with it, as there was enough variety to always leave satisfied, including fresh fruit and yogurt daily. The breakfast cooks were so, so friendly, we just loved them! Not 1 complaint about anything from us! Next trip to PEI, we will definitely book there again!"

"We had an amazing stay. We booked through Expedia which was super easy. The staff were amazing and friendly. We got to stay in the cabin which was really nice. Had the best sleep in a long time, it was central to everything as well which really nice. The kitchenette was adorable and didn’t take long for the air conditioner to cool the whole room down. They had quie a few BBQ’s outside with picnic tables to sit at. The pool was close, we didn’t use it but a lot of families did. Had such an amazing time will definitely be booking again"

"Island Gales Cottage is an amazing property — gorgeous house, lovely spacious yard, gardens and shrubs/trees for privacy — just lovely! Kevin and Lourdes have thought of just about everything to make this a perfect home-away-from-home experience. We were nine people — grandparents, parents, and three children — and we were so very comfortable! We did a bit of cooking while there and found everything we needed in the well-appointed kitchen. The kids had a blast with all the toys and equipment both in the house and in the yard. And the adults loved having a fire in the firepit on several nights — with everything needed supplied by our generous hosts. This was probably a once-in-a-lifetime family vacation (we all drove from New York State), and our accommodations certainly contributed to it being unforgettable!"

"The check in process was smooth . We had some issues finding the key box but figured it out ultimately . The cottage was clean ,had every amenity we wanted and even had a extra pack and play and a sofa bed . TV had Netflix etc . Staples all present in the kitchen . Nice big place . No issues at all we had a lovely time .check out was smooth and easy . Close to cabendish beach and all other amenities including sandspit"
