"Best property on the beach in Parksville, perfect for families or couples. Had a phenomenal dinner on the patio; amazing views and the best ribeye, crab mac & cheese and crab appetizer. We try to stay every summer, it’s an ideal spot with lovely staff. Peaceful and relaxing, can’t wait to come back. "
"This place has all you need, on top of being beautiful! On the contrary to other reviews, I think they communicate their facilities very clearly online. Service was also great from the front desk, to the restaurant, to the activity rentals. Pacific Shores has an absolutely beautiful sunset location too. The rooms are more on the dated side maybe but the theyre comfortable and efficient (we were in the suite so we loved the kitchen and washer/dryer!!). Our whale watching tour was also canceled due to winds so we were so thankful for the kayak rentals they do for free. We saw a couple of seals breaching out of the water and the view around the bay overall was so nice. Would love to visit again."
"the only thing we didnt like was the air quality that was not the hotels fault that was a forest fire we had to cancel two nights stay because of that for health reasons."
"The location is on the beach. There is not much that is within walking distance for restaurants and shops. It is a short drive to the downtown and to Qualicum Beach and to the market in Coombs. The resort is new so it is clean. The gym doesn’t open until 7:00. Coffee was sometimes ready at 6:00 but it depends on the staff. The washer an dryer in our suite was very convenient. It’s good for families with kids. "
