"Good hotel in a good location"

"First off, the hotel is located on a very steep hill, which was ok for us but they need to mention it to other people who might not be ok climbing the hills. The building is very old. which is cool, but do watch your head, very low ceilings at some places. The lobby was very ok, nothing special. We only checked in for 1 night and our air conditioner was not working. We were offered no solution, just a fan... It was broken before us, but they don't seem to be in a rush to fix it. The room itself was clean and spacious, many windows. We had to keep them open to keep cool air coming in, and there is a cafe in a courtyard, which was pretty loud till about 12am."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good for me, though my teenage son did not enjoy it. Very comfortable and good size beds provided us with restful sleep. Socket adaptors are available for purchase at the reception. We did not have a good view out of our window. Often we did not have hot water - we were told there was a problem with a hot water supply in the area. The gym was available but at an extra charge per day. The hotel is a bit far away from the old town, but we enjoyed walking, with excellent vistas. A lot of walking is up the hill, so be prepared."
