Panorama Hotel St Helens
10/10 Excellent
"We got delayed on our drive, almost running out of gas, so didn't arrive before 6pm, which is end of check-in. (Note: St. Helens has two fuel stations and Scamender has one.) Staff was very helpful and friendly -- we saw the sign at reception to go to the Bistro to ask for check-in and our key, and then we returned for a lovely dinner. Our room was clean and well-furnished. The interior hallways have signs reminding guests to be quiet. We slept well with the extra blankets. In the morning we enjoyed the room amenities -- filtered mountain water, coffee/cups, and shortbread. We enjoyed breakfast in the Bistro with a view of the bay. This is a great location for visiting the coast and stopping at places like the Bicheno Blowhole and Coles Bay."

"Blue Seas holiday villa, had amazing views of the sea and river. The villa was beautiful, it had great furniture and many extra touches. Very relaxing and very central to all the beautiful scenery. Just loved the sea views. Michelle and Dean, were lovely hosts, so friendly and helpful."

"Lovely warm and relaxing space. Quiet location and nice surroundings. Great for families (probably with older children as the kids sleep upstairs on a mazzanine). Nice furnishings throughout - a unique place to stay. Worth noting that there is a microwave at the property, but not mentioned in the particulars when we booked. Only other suggestion might be to provide somewhere to hang washing. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!"
