"It is with heavy heart i leave 'Home'... aka Hideaway Resort and Spa in Coral Coast. From the moment,we arrived we were welcomed by the Porters... 'welcome Home'... and this phrase is used from Reception staff and Restaurant/Bar staff... Little they knew i lost my father 3 weeks ago and that by welcoming home, they touched my soul. We have stayed a numerous hotels in Fiji and some 5stars, however the hospitality we received here at Hideaway Resort and Spa was beyond the expectations. Kini, Miri, Tash, Peni, Taniela, Naomi, Amani, Sitari , Vala George... just to name a few were incredible humans. They made us feel at home, they left no stone unturned to make our family holiday one to remember for a life time.Accommodation was comfortable big rooms four us, 2 adults and 2 kids age 12 and 15. Daily room clean... thanks Miri you are a star. Clean beach and pool. Lots of activities organised by Activities Team, Thanks George you are one very talented person.Daily activities filled our days with excitement and we learnt how to cook chicken curry, tie a Sulu, tried roasted coconut, participated in games which had a price of free coffee, lucky me I love coffee. We had aqua dance, dinner shows and fire dance shows. Boat Fishing trip was easy to book via the activities teams, thanks Kini and Dan, you are both super stars.Taniela who sang us beautiful songs near the beach. You sing like an angel, Thank you.Restaurant and Bar staff your smiles are contagious. We love your services. THANK"

"The house and amenities were super clean and functional. Bed is firm and very comfortable. The deck had nice lounge chairs for hanging out. We found the kitchen very well equipped. Loved that the house was uncluttered and spacious feeling! The supermarket at the bottom of the hill and the fruit/veggie stand next to it provide everything you need for simple meals and beverages (liquor/beer also). We also had good food at The Chill Grill and at the Italian restaurant for pizza. Papú and Vanshika, the daily caretakers, were very friendly and helpful. Papu took my husband fishing down at the lagoon. The snorkeling off the jetty just across the street is a bit tricky, as the current from the nearby river makes it very swift with lots of plant matter. Negatives-some vehicle noise from the road below but the view makes up for it. The steep walk up from the street to the house would be difficult for some. It was our fitness challenge every day. I thought the pool was onsite, so was disappointed the pool options were a hotel pool behind the grocery store or a neighborhood pool across the highway that was not well cared for. "

"I escaped not just to a beach, I escaped myself. My anxious thoughts vanished, time slowed, and certain peace overflowed and consumed my existence. In this space I found the time to hear the sounds of nature, I found myself appreciating the texture of the sand and grass under bare feet, I found clarity and a sense of cleaning away the burden of the past few months of daily life in a wash of cool crystalline water as I snorkeled around the cove, over coral reefs and inlets, but most of all, I found my breath. The perfection of Mango Bay comes from its imperfections. Its charm deeply embedded in its character, the people, and its connection to place. For those who prefer more factual detail; # Brilliant communication including organizing all airport transfers, tours and activities. # Great amenities - with sea kayaks and snorkeling gear on hand at no cost. # Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and real beach side villas. # Loved the outdoor shower - was the perfect way to start and end a day, under the sun or stars with complete privacy. # Attentive staff, great rotating food menu's and fantastic selection of drinks (shots especially) Is it perfect, no, is it rough around the edges, yes.... but this is what makes it special, and this is what makes it unique. Can't wait to get back to a place that made me feel like I was home."

"GREAT place to stay, we have stayed here atleast 4-5 occasions and it’s always good, The staff super friendly with Hasina taking care of us along with her staff. Rooms are clean and with plenty of space for family of 4-5. Huge pool and they just opened a chill restaurant at the hotel w/drinks available for all. Close by pizza, stir fry, gas station and covient supermarket. It’s a relax spot to hang out for a day or 2, btw there is a jetty within walking distance to getup close for viewing fish,,,,, Well worth the money!!!!"
