"Our stay at the Ashbrook was great! From the cleanliness of the room to the very nice staff. Our room was very, very clean and very well-maintained. The staff were all friendly and helpful.The location was awesome. We were able to walk to dinner and shopping. It was nice that there were muffins and coffee in the office every morning to get the day started. I would have liked it if the toiletries were in larger bottles, the ones that were there were small and rather difficult to get shampoo and conditioner out of them. The only other thing I would’ve liked to see changed is a little bit softer of a mattress. But we did love our stay there and we will stay again.!"

"We stayed here Oct 8-11, busy season. We weren't able to book a bay-side room; had a 'forest room' instead. Rooms are small but clean. Good strategy for changing out towels as needed. Breakfast was below average, only coffee, orange juice and frosted sweet rolls. The dock and bay-side grounds were nice, and the views from the bay-side rooms look amazing. about 7 minute drive to Egg Harbor."

"We loved our night at Independence Stay. We look forward to returning for a longer stay. Young lady at the front desk on check in was great! professional, patient and very helpful with information. Complimentary water and snacks were welcome. The room,or should I say suite,,was clean and impressive. The huge bathtub was worthy of a long relaxing soak after a long day of travel.Had a pleasant chat with the man hard at work manning the breakfast kitchen and dining area. Coffee was hot and fresh, we took an extra cup for the road. Left us wishing all other hotels set the same standards of hospitality. You run a great Hotel/ extended stay property… Thank you!"
