"The Bright Artist's Cottage was a great choice for our visit to Athens while attending a family wedding. Felt like home! It's beautiful with original artwork, all the amenities we needed, as well as close to all the hot spots in town. Thank you to Alex and Mel for wonderful communication as well. "Nice property. One of the two rooms wasn't cleaned properly. In the morning, the cleaning staff opened the room door to clean with do not disturb sign hanging. No bedside lighting. "

"This property was even better than advertised! Spacious, yet cozy — lots of attention was given to details that made our experience great! The home was also in a great location — walking distance to the Oconee River Park (.5 miles) and only a 5-minute drive from downtown Athens. The host was responsive to questions leading up to our stay and I am confident that she’d have been equally attentive had we had any issues during our stay. We didn’t though, and wewould stay again!"

"I’m sorry but this hotel is a dump it smells of old carpet I had no hot water in the shower and it’s in a questionable area. I would not recommend this place at all."
