Maria's By the Sea Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"I love staying here. It is my favorite place to stay when I visit. The staff is always friendly and my room was superb!"

Hidden Gem Tucked Away in the Bay - Kings Kove

8/10 Good

"Overall I would recommend this guest house. It had a nice patio with a great view and a very friendly neighboring dog that greeted us each time! The AC was in the bedroom and kept it cool. The shower was large and had good water pressure, there were hair and skin products under the sink to use which I appreciated. The tap water wasn’t for drinking but the host left bottled water in the fridge for our arrival. The house was up a series of steep roads and somewhat difficult for taxi services to find. It was a 20 minute walk to Nanny Cay which had restaurants, coffee shop and a small marina grocery store that we used. Going to Roadtown required a 20 taxi and getting to West End Marina was a 40 taxi. We rented a scooter for 45/day and toured the island which was a highlight. The kitchen was well equipped and clean although the longer we stayed the more small sugar ants found their way inside, even after cleaning all counters and storing all food in the fridge, I would sweep them into the sink each day, sweep them off the floor each day and they always found their way back. A small issue to deal with but irritating nonetheless! If I came back to Tortola I would rent this guest house again. The manager/host was easily reachable through the VRBO chat and assisted with connecting us to a taxi service (of which there are many on the island). Thanks for a great stay!"

AnaCapri Estate-Beautiful Caribbean Villa with pool and sea views

10/10 Excellent

"This was a truly wonderful property. It exceeded our expectations in every respect. One note of warning: the roads are steep and windy with some hairpin turns as we drove around the island, and all wheel drive was essential. Also, the gate at the place opens and closes quite quickly, so we learned to have one of us get out and hold a foot in front of the sensor while our car was going through. To that end, we also strongly advise getting the rental insurance *without a deductible* because branches scratched the car once as we drove around the island and the gate scratched the car our first time through! Luckily, we had decided to get it. Lori, the host was super helpful with everything we needed, including a fishing charter. We hope to return to this beautiful place."

Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina

10/10 Excellent

"Scrub Island is a top tier resort with beautiful amenities and amazing customer service from the time your flight lands, the ferry arrives to the dock, the check-in was flawless-even making sure our rooms were ready on time based on our arrival. Every staff member went above and beyond!"

Zafira Luxe 1-bedroom villa with sauna, steam, sunset views, AC, WIFI in Tortola

10/10 Excellent

"Such an amazing place and such an amazing host! I really don't want to write anything here because I want it all to myself but this is truly the spot to be. Its a little bit out of town so a rental car was the way to go. Whenever we had questions she was quite attentive. You will be treated well if you stay here!"
