"This was our second time and could not speak more highly of the property or host! It's beautiful there and one of the most peaceful vacations our family looks forward to. It's a chance to totally unplug and enjoy the beauty of nature. Our kids (11 and 13 love it). They play in the river, hike, sunbath, play darts, find treasures, build bonfires and whatever else they find to do! They are off the electronics and out being kids free and wild.The cabin is perfectly sized for our family of 4 with the kids choosing sleeping in the loft (their hide out). Any and all provisions provided by the host and kitchen well stocked. Books, games, you name it.I adore this property and would stay forever if we could! We will 100% be back - summer or winter this is our family vibe!PS: We tried Crabby Cafe and it was delicious and also the boys took the kayak on Watagua - it was freezing and windy but that was on them. It will be amazing in the summer to be that close to the lake and rent a boat or jet ski's."

"We enjoyed our stay So much! Peaceful relaxing. Our dog enjoyed it as much as we did, lots for him to explore.Slept comfortably & cozy. I enjoyed coffee on the porch swing as the sun came full on in the mornings. Sitting around the fire pit evenings. If you are looking in this area, it's a gem! "

"This is a great mountain cottage located in a good location to explore eastern Tennessee. The house was easy to find, very nice inside and out. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials that one may need for cooking. The host is very quick with responses and aims to please and make sure your stay is seamless. "

"The cabin is as it states. The road up is a 4 wheel drive rd as they state. Hot tub was perfect. Everything worked and lots of kitchen pots, pans, dishes etc. pond is so pleasant and know that there are other properties all over the place tucked in. Really enjoyed our rustic stay. "
