"The fan in the back bedroom ceiling fan makes noises all night long had to go buy a fan to stay cool up there spiderwebs in the back bathroom the other bedroom the light on the ceiling fan wouldn’t turn on or off"

"Amazing property. Richard was so easy to work with. We had no problems. The cabin is just incredible. Very cozy and comfortable. The views were just amazing. We met a neighbor who was so nice. The butterfly garden was spectacular. I highly recommend. Bedrooms were perfect sized for us."

"This property was amazing! The home was beautifully decorated inside and out. The landscaping was beautiful, and the smell of the flowers that were in bloom during our stay just accentuated the breathtaking view we had on the front porch. We spent a lot of time sitting on the rocking chairs. Every little detail was thought of in the home with so many extras provided. It felt like HOME for the week, and not just a rental. It was the perfect setting for family members to visit us during our trip. The property features a trout stream which is loaded with trout! Our twin boys had a blast all week, since this was their first time trout fishing. It was almost too easy as there were fish in every hole. We practiced catch and release so we could enjoy it again on our next stay! The owner was nearby for a few days and was so kind! We chatted on occasion when we would cross paths, and we were even surprised with goodie deliveries a couple of times. We had daily wildlife visitors with the deer and turkey very close to the house. I do not have anything negative to say about this house, the property, or the owners. We had a fantastic week and we plan to be back!"

"What a beautiful cabin and property! So peaceful and tranquil. Amazing view from the cabin of the mountains & pond.. Cabin is lovely, very clean, modern kitchen, love the stove and the stone fireplace. The stone steps and pavers are beautiful.. Such a peaceful and tranquil setting. Zac was a wonderful host. Can’t wait to come back again!"

"Very peaceful property in a central yet private location. Plenty of space behind the house to walk our dog and enjoy the outside area. The house had plenty of space and comforts for our needs. Large and comfy couch! You are surrounded by lots of trees and wildlife. Be cautious turning left out of the driveway, there is a blind curve to the right. We would stay here again. All the best to the host, Holly."

"Lovely home with lots of cozy touches! Our favorite room was the very large screened porch with a dining table, comfortable wicker chair arrangements and two anti-gravity lounge chairs. From here we listened to the sounds of the creek and enjoyed amazing firefly shows every night. (We visited in July.) It was magical! The grounds are beautifully landscaped. We also loved the screened gazebo by the creek. Inside, the home is very comfortable and has everything you need or could want. The hosts made sure we felt welcomed. They care about the home and their guests. Jindra and John are terrific hosts!! The location is short drive to Roan Mountain Recreation Area and Penland School of Craft. I recommend both. We had an excellent stay!"
